My wife and I went to the movies, like we've done before, and when I got to my car I saw something worse than the movie we had just seen (Saw 4)...someone had vandalized the nismo.

I'm not sure if they are a retarded would-be car thief, a general punk/hater, or what the hell they were. But I do know they took a big *** rock and smashed it in the direction of my driver's side window, shattering the plastic trim right above the glass. It could have been thrown, but I couldn't find any marks that likely would have occurred due to a bounce.

I just can't wrap my mind around what would drive someone to do this.

As furious as I was, I'm glad they didn't damage one of the nismo-unique pieces. That would have really sucked having to wait on one of those to be replaced.

A sad, sad day. Humanity, -1.

 

sigh. sorry ... how do these people even feel after they do that? ruining something that isnt theirs and laughing about it after. haters. we woulda loved it if you caught them in the act and went after them. get the window fixed and hope no one does it again. is this a bad part of town?

 

Sorry man. I have had my truck broken into twice and it really pisses you off.

 

We really need to have some of these people removed from society.

It's actually a suburban area, but I do live around DC, so I guess EVERYWHERE is a bad part of town.

Yeah, MC, I'm pretty paranoid about it to. I parked under a street lamp near the street. I was never worried about it being vandalized, just stolen.

Regardless, I'm taking the wife's car from now on if I can't park somewhere I can see it. And that sucks, because I shouldn't feel like I have to go out of my way just because of some random jackass.

It was probably some little punk kids that have nothing better to do and are pissed off because their mommy and daddy didn't buy them one.

Sucks to hear. I had a rock thrown through my rear windown once. Also had some psycho ex side swipe the front left corner of my Z. Good luck with that. Thats why I hardly ever drive my Z to the mall or movies. Fawken haters!

 

Eh, I stopped some kids from something like this at the movies not too long ago. Actually, I watched them place a glass bottle behind someone's tire. I walked over there calmly, grabbed the bottle, stared them down, and threw it off into the woods while still staring at them, then walked away. They started walking off really fast. I assume they thought I was going to go rat on them to the police on the other side of the parking lot. Random, immature, stupid kids have no respect or common sense.

 

That sucks. Its a shame there are so many haters out there.

THAT's why. Obviously it is to ghetto thugs hatin on nice cars. So I say good for all of you that don't like to park certain places downtown, or drive on halloween or to the movies. It's just the way the world works nowadays.

after reading this, 2 other vandalized threads, and 2 threads about Z's getting jacked...i think i am going to get an aftermarket alarm installed. did a little reading about the clifford variety, looked at a couple viper models at best buy...i've never had one in my car before. can anyone make a recommendation? brand to stay away from?

i live in little ole' columbus ohio and i park my nismo the same way. no one vandalized it yet but...... real sorry to hear about that. i would flip my top if i walked out of somewhere and saw my z messed with.

 

I still don't see why people have to do this. How can they go home after doing something like this and feel good about it? These kinds of people definitely have no conscience.
