2007 Civic Typer R > 2007 Nismo 350Z
On the November 2007 edition of Best Motoring, they raced a couple of 2007 4dr Civic Type R's with a 2007 Nismo 350Z. The Nismo was placed first on the starting grid with the two Type R's behind it. They called it the SUGO Battle.
The results are in and they are not pretty.
The civic not only took first place, but it out lapped the Nismo's best lap time.
Don't get my wrong, I love my car dearly but what will these Civic's do to my Enthusiast 03 if they can outlap the Nismo? Discuss.
To those who have seen race, maybe you can explain the race in more detial. I might be lost without translation but did these civics have turbo's or were they even heavily modified? From what I saw all of the cars were stock.

Did you watch the video?
Short track and only cornering matters if the track had a good place to gain ground like a long straight I am sure it would have done better then 6th.

there is a version S Z in japan its just a trim level thats what i thought he was refering to since he said type S ( thought he meant the vesion S in the trailer) but that was a different video anyway though from october.

but on the flip side there is also one of these battles where the nismo Z eeks out a cayman S in lap time

Doesnt matter how fast that car is, by the end of the night you drive home in a Z while the other guy drive home in a CIVIC !!!
