Default cusco RS lsd and berk HFC *edit* video inside

I got my car back from the shop...
sound now it's a lot meaner than before... not too loud, not too quiet. some rasp with cold HFC, but nothing compared to a bmw M car.
WOT is not insane like was in my '06.
the LSD needs the break in process.. so tonight I'll go in my private parking lot to do some figure 8 and than an oil change.
but so far no bad noise, just some locking that is driving the TC crazy in the sharpest turn. (parking lot style)

*edit*
I did the procedure to broke in the diff... actually I don't feel a lot of those popping, squealing tires, uncomfortable driving as some user reports. ok, it's not an open diff but the feel of the upgrade is G-R-E-A-T. if you don't use the throttle like a switch looks fine for driving, but I'll wait the rain to see how is when the surface is slippery.
for the sound make sense on a nismo car. is not ricer.. it's really metallic with some rasp. you feel that the engine revs more freely and it's a pleasure. cruising the noise is almost stock.

I'm happy with both upgrades. :-)

You have the cusco set at 100% lockup?

I've read that the cusco does not require figure 8s. Normal driving, about 200 miles or so, followed by a fluid change and you're good.

figure 8 is not going to hurt! :-) and yes, is 100%
the only "bad" thing is you have to be decently quick in the turns if you don't want the weird lockups.

yes, my Z is a daily but she'll hit the track pretty often. that is why I'm looking for this kind of upgrades.
next chapter coilovers, than oil cooler, nismo power steering cooler and after a single pipe exhaust... diff cooler and tranny cooler.

Sounds good. I noticed you had test pipes on your last car. Is there a noticeable difference in power and sound?

well on last was test pipes, headers, true dual and a pretty nice tune. I think my 06 was still faster, but this one feel close already. about the sound... this still whisper compared to the other.

*edit* I was wrong.

restake the plates.
60, 80, 100%.

I have to say that 100% is pretty aggressive on the street and especially with cold oil is a PITA (you look like an idiot manouvering)...
but as soon as you can step on the gas or go at any decent speed...
you'll smile :-)
