Default First mods for the NISMO?

Just got the NISMO and now I am looking for the first mod. I am thinking an Intake, but which do I choose? The Stillen, the NISMO or the Fujita? The NISMO claims 10HP at the wheels, but this seems a little overrated. What are your suggestions?

I agree with MC. The gains or very very minimal. It just compliments the car!

the Nismo is very good as is out of the box. Intake is a waste of money. the Stock airbox is the best. Trust me on this. I had the Stillen short tube on my Nismo but now I am running the stock box. read this thread https://my350z.com/forum/showthread....320191&page=13

if you really want mod then consider a reflash or Y-pipe and Mid-pipe. The muffler is already a nismo piece. Header is already equal length from the factory.

Is there a good reflash for a 08? I have been reading a few threads and a couple of people stated that there isn't. What about getting rid of the cats for straight pipes?

07 & 08 is the same engine same ecu. i wouldn't get a straight pipe and have to deal with the CEL. The exhaust also smells very irritating and you are running a risk of getting a big ticket from the pigs. the HFC will probably give 3whp so i have reason to believe a straight pipe will probably gain another 1whp. but the hassle does not really worth it.
