Hey Congrats on your new 350z.

I'm pretty sure you and your son will enjoy it for the years to come.

I know I do!!.. Best 350z money can buy

Also Don't feed into the Dicks on this board, most of them just looking to start something.

Your sons age and yours is none of there dam business.

How did your son graduate high school at 16? My parents helped me pay for my Z when I graduated, but didn't fork out 40k for a new Nismo. If it is his first car I would say that's a bad decision, because I know if my parents would have gotten me a first car like that I would have killed myself.

It's a nice car. But it was a bad choice to give it to your son as a first car. I just hope he does'nt wrap it around a tree. Look at what happened with the Hogan kid. If he ends up hurting someone which I pray to god he does'nt you better be ready to start forking in the cash when you get sued. Cause you are ultimately the one responsible. You dont get a 16year old kid a 300+hp car as a first car you get them a Honda or a VW.

Why don't you let me do the parenting on my child. He was able to graduate high school early by a program in ohio called PSEO (or post-secondary) which allows high schoolers to go to a college full time for college credits. Also, i really didn't pay anything close to 40k.

Gorgeous!

And congratulations to your son for graduation so early! I envied my friends that found the quicker way to get out of the High School atmosphere! LOL

I tell you what, If my son or daughter was to graduate quickly, which shows an immense amount of concentration and responsibility at that age, that I would definantly reward them with a special gift to show my gratitude!

To add, I am quite suprised at the fuel economy I am getting in my Nismo! 27 Highway and 21 city! Its great! My M3 never got anything close to those numbers!

I'm sure that's the same thing Hulk Hogan said and look at were it has landed him and the family of the Marine that's paralyzed for the rest of his life. Also my brother who also is dead from having a 67 road runner with over 400hp as a first car. He ended up racing and lost control of his car and went into a canal. My older brother was the driver (16) he survived. My 2nd brother (15) and my cousin (16) both passengers are dead (drowning). And you know what? My parents live with the guilt for the rest of there lives.

Honestly, I really don't care what you most of you people would do, because I already did it. I feel my sons maturity vastly outweighs that of his peers, and I feel his educational accomplishments warrant a reward.

^
1. my sole purpose of joining this forum wasn't to ask your opinion (don't give yourself that much credit), it was to converse with several enthusiasts.

2. I joined in 07 when he turned 16 and started talking about the car.

3. I enjoy the humerous banter that comes from for sale threads, thats why son.

4. Wife's 911 went back due to the issue of having no SUVs in the family (she now drives a GL 450), the GT 500 is my eighteen year old son's car (red with white stripes). I know alot about each car, except for my 22' T.

5. Your train of thought matches that of a 7th grader.

6. Are you a parent? If so don't you want to build a sense of work ethic in your children.

Well maybe if your son is as smart as you say he is he can teach you proper grammer and spelling. Thread F.A.I.L.

Lovely car. Hopefully your son won't be like most of my friends when I was 16, who got fast cars and totalled them within the first year of owning them.
