Default Need some help guys (MC Espically)

I need an honest answer guys... I was in an accident in my nismo that involved me running over a "Island (raised portion of concrete in a gas station parking lot)" and the whole underside of my nismo. It also but a tiny little chip in the front diffuser, about a half inch long, that you can barely notice. So the gas stations insurance is most likely going to pay to have all damaged parts replaced. The list is as follows:

Front bumper including diffuser and hamburger emblem
A black plastic peice that gois underneath the diffuser and wraps around.
Side Skirts left and right

Here is my question.

Cosmetically unless you had the car up on a lift you would not be able to see the damage. I am very **** and that is why I am pushing for replacement parts. How much should I sell each peice for or should I sell it as a set and what should I set the price at for the set? I will not have the rear diffuser and bumper because that was not damaged. My Nismo is Black in case you were wondering.

I wish yall could have seen my face when I went over it because the noise was the most nauseating thing i have ever heard in my life and I really think I possibly shed a tear.

Thanks for the help.

Ok yes that was the question, but yet you failed on so many levels on answering it. Lets try this again... What should I sell the minamally damaged (underside only ) pieces for? Meaning how much money?

why would the gas stations insurance pay for the damage? technically it's your own fault for driving over the "island".

ok miagine a curb in the middle of a parking lot made of asphalt. I can honestly say that you would not notice the damage from the outside of the car. Prob wouldnt even see it if i told you the difuser had a chip in it. Basically it is scraped on the bottom where you cant see unless it is on a lift.

Chris

If pics are needed let me know.

For some reason I cannot edit my post do miagine a black asphalt top parking lot with a black asphalt curb in the middle of it and it happened right as the sun was going down. I can also say that I would be so comfortable selling this I would refund everything if the buyer was not honestly happy plus 10%. You really cannot tell unless it is up on a lift.

Ok honestly are you kidding me.... Name one Z owner who doesent have some sort of scratches under their front lip? I honestly wouldnt sell them if they were damaged.... I figured I would help someone out who wanted the kit. I will just opt for the check instead. If anyone would like to give an honest reply as to how much I could expect for them feel free to post. Also if you wanna act like a 16 year old feel free to post as well.

I think I understand what you mean with the front bumper. (tell me if I am wrong) From my experience the bottom of the piece hits just about anything that is raised or is on a steep slope. So the paint is fine but the underbody of it is scratched to Shi#. The unpainted part (Correct)?

I can't give you a price because I would be guessing, but if I were in your situation I would call up Nissan and ask them how much a replacement would be, then sell your's for half/ quarter of Nissan's price.

Assuming you have no paint damage... or very little on the bottom lip... which is pretty much enevitable. I may have misread, but is there any paint damage to the actual bumper (the part that is painted black, instead of the dark gray?)

I can imagine your pain going over that hump, I have had a few close calls and my insides turn over. Good luck hope everything goes well with the repairs

Who would buy damaged goods? That's like paying for half a loaf of bread when you can just get a full loaf.

Honestly, expect nothing. And post pics.

Thank you Lento and yes you are exactly right. I wish I could go outside and take some pics right now but it is raining and they would not show up very well. I will post pics some time this weekend.

you'll sell it for as much as the buyer is willing to pay.

maybe 15-35% of retail value.

As you can see in the first pic there is no visible damage except underside the car. No function was damaged either.
