I really dont kno why you need to know the top speed of the nismo, i guess for braggin rights to your college buddies, but lulz***s have turned this topic even worse then it started so you may as well walk away.

Who really cares? Why is this such a big deal to you? Bragging rights?

Its not bragging rights, i wanted to know if you pretty much can feel the difference. I asked about top speed because that would show the car would be slower... ex, if the car top speed would be 120 then at highway speeds the car wouldnt even have any acceleration. I'm not saying the Nismo is slower, im just asking where the f did this website http://www.allcargarage.com/2007-nissan-nismo-z.html get there info. (last paragraph)

That test is not very good. All their times were slow and their skidpad was low compared to what others have come up with. Honestly they will be so close you will not be able to tell the difference. Is will come down to what car is driven better. Go to a dealer and drive both and see if one feels faster than the other...having done that I can tell you will not be able to tell a difference.

wait a second.. you cant have both. it either has more down force like you and solo claim and is slower.. or it doesnt have have more down force and is not slower..

fkn make up your mind... your car doesnt defy all logic like you make it out to.

Do know how much downforce it takes to actually make the car slower??? Its more than you think.

One could argue the Nismo rear muffler flows more and could aid in a few HP which would be enough to make up for the adding downforce.

ok everyone is going crazy now for quarter-mile purpose I doubt if anyone took both cars to the track the nismo would lose 3 out of 3 runs... that's what I mean...

I'm not solo...I'm not going saw it's law yet I'm a person of reason...

there is no real reason the car should lose on a strip...

downforce isn't that great at those speeds

I have personally hit 158 in my nismo

158 is damn near 160...

now if yall want to argue 2mph then you WIN 158 isn't 160

that's all KingBaby is saying

if you want straightline speed, get a supra. just don't expect it to handle anywhere near a nismo.

It is a little slower, but it can hit 160 pretty quick still as I have video of mine doing it. The spoiler and hood start to shake at speeds above 150 though. This was stock btw.

The downforce the kit causes will make the car slower than a Base 350z HR next to it going from 0-topspeed. The NISMO will lose because of weight and the downforce the kit has. But you put them both on a road course and the NISMO will walk away from the Base.

The NISMO is speed limited at 160mph and stops there. Now that I don't have a limiter I haven't had the opportunity to take it to 160+ again to see how quick it can actually go. Maybe one of these days I will again, but the hood lifting/shaking was a bit nerve wrecking.
