IS350? Not too bad. Still a bit under powered but overall a nice car.

^^^^^^^^.....Are you serious??? Have you ever even ridden in an IS350??? I drive a 08 Nismo and I bought my wife an 07 IS 350. The IS is by no means underpowered. I walk away from stock Mustang GT's in it and after driving both I'm not positive that I could outrun it in my Nismo. The car is FAR from underpowered. To th OP, its a very very nice car. Its a great choice!!!

I gotta listen right now. I got a DUI bout a year ago and need the help. Right now after test driving the IS350. I want the Nismo, it's way more exciting to drive, even though i think i might regret a two seater later. I'm still trying to get the nismo, only major drawback is that my insurance would be 450 a month which is the same as the car payment. I'm stuck right now. The Nismo Z looks amazing to me. But it's plain on the inside. I'm always gonna be a Nissan/Infiniti enthusiast.

Wow. I must live in a different world. Get a DUI and mom rewards you with a new car that is gonna cost her 9 bills a month. My mom would have set my car on fire and gave me a swift kick in the nuts.

IMO, the 250 isn't worth the money. My gf has a fully loaded 250 and it's near the 40k mark at around 38k. Overall, it looks nice on the inside and outside, BUT is far too underpowered.

If you are looking for a sedan around the 33k mark, why not get the new Maxima? More power and looks just as good as the 250 if not better. Else, you are really just paying for the Lexus badge.

If between a 250 and Nismo, get the Nismo. If between 350 and Nismo, well idk that would be tough.

can't go wrong with any car, but in my personal preference.. IS350 > 350Z > IS250.. IS350 = enough power, luxurious, refined, more practical..

Lexus is nice, but if you get the 250, you will miss the power.. The 350 would be nice, with good power.. You can F-sport it out, Toyota's version of performance.

250 will get you better gas mileage, and backseats.

Look at what you need it for, then decide. Also, are you looking to get a manual transmission in the Lexus. Better warranty with Lexus. If you liked the care you got from Infiniti, Lexus will be cool for you then.

but in all seriousness, if you still live with the parents and they still pay most/all your bills, it doesn't really matter what you want because your name will not be on the lease/title. And with a DUI and your parents are still willing to buy you something just be happy to be able to drive somewhere and not have to ride the bus

plus getting a DUI at 23 is a serious thing and with the power and looks of the nismo, you will be looked at by every cop you pass on the road and just having that one more slip up could end up in some serious jail time...so for now i'd get the lexus and when your parents are off your back, then get the nismo if you are set on it

now all this is being said with the assumption that your parents pay for your living expenses and housing still

Why has no one mentioned the BMW 335I? Lexus is crap for the price. My E90 is far from underpowered. I run better times in my 4dr BMW than I do in my NISMO.

LOL at this thread.

Those are two completely different cars with different intended purposes.

EDIT: There is no interior trunk release on the 350z, but there is one on the key-fob

You came to website named "My350z.com" to ask if you should buy a 350z or a Lexus...
