Correct me if Im wrong but aren't the vent flaps supposed to be cut the the other way so air can escape out? they wont work and a scoop since that's a low pressure area. Cut back like this \\\ not intake style like you posted, or are you still cutting?

Correct...

I'm no aero expert regardless of what type air going in high/low pressure. Air will be going in? My train of thought behind this is that is should keep the heat soak down by keeping hot air moving and not soaking in the engine bay? I'm still cutting and want to do a large vent towards the rear right before the firewall similar to the BMW's

No point to this beside me wanting to see it done on an HR hood...

Yeah see how the front vents are cut on that BMW hood, that way it pulls air out of the bay through the hood, air that comes in from the front area of the car exits up and out with the draft of the car. Im no aero expert either lol, just trying to put it all together and wondering if there is an advantage to your style. We need some of the road racers up in hurrr, 03threefiftyz, terrasmak, scotts300, care to chime in put your knowledge to work?

side view = BOSS...front view = bacon strips....maybe try to flatten em out and weld a metal bar along each cut to have support and not look like bacon strips? but regardless looks like it will turn out great...you sir have ***** lol

Yea another reason I didn't cut the vent out completely was the strip in between got really weak hence the bacon strips will be massaging them to curve one way

Thanks...if anything we'll replace it

So this weekend out sucked with the car...randomly went into limp mode several times...a friends 08 had horrible hesitation no matter what gear...

Read/heard there was a TSB for the ECUs?

Inputs ?

Anyways finished up the hood

lessons learned from this is (1) I should have moved it to the edge of the hump...I slighty cut into it. Aesthetically it would of look ten times better. (2) bending the flaps would be easier if I cuted/trimmed guide on the backside of the hood with a dremel. Would of helped bend the flap easier than using force. Other than that having the proper tools made it really easy to do this.

Next is similair style on the fenders like the GTR racecars..because I'm a ricer

That's okay, I recently found this out about myself when I went against everything inside me and went with the momentum single. I then realized I've been a closet ricer all along. Loud exhaust, backfires and flames - what more could you ask for?

Kingbaby, do you think the real flares would go up against the v3 rear bumper with no issues? Since I know the amuse rear bumper extends out quite a bit

Yes the real flares will mount no issue! Where are you getting just the real flares from?

Oh I was just wondering, since I have been observing how the v3 rear and amuse rear add on are pretty much identical, aside from the extension.

finished the wire tuck of the body harnesses

Now car doesn't start...rotates but doesn't turn over. Codes P2127 P2138 pop up...OK I read several threads and didn't want to end up running around in circles. Tested alot of other things to confirm they work before ordering a TPS. Hopefully it works...cause I will light this car on fire!

Couldn't let these slide pass me...snug fit for a 6'4" 220lbs but with the rails it's lower than my previous sparco so it's a better seat position.

So yea...still at it...

I am the biggest noob...

That's out the way...so if you keep up today with my troubles with this car you know that I've had electrical issues. Random stalls/lost of interior lights/trunk randomly popping/gas gauge randomly not working....

I blamed the BCM/IPDM from jump...car still worked so really didn't change them out...my fault....

Ordered bunch of shiet to fix it only to stall for the last time in traffic at a intersection.

Wanted to burn the car where it sat...

I'm over it....

just ripped the whole interior out, and ordered new body harness

also considering going all out with the car..as in removing some glass/ac/etc....
