Default 2008 nismo, just bought, suggested first mods?

suggested first mods/sequence of mods for my nismo 350z? 2008 nismo 350z with 19300 miles, stock, fresh pads, tires. suggestions as far as the order of what to do? i plan to have this thing at 400 rwhp, and i previously had a ls1 camaro, so i know the ins/outs of fourums/that i shoudl read the stickies, but im so excited about having a well handling car that i want to see the "general" path i "should take" to get to 400 rwhp but june 2014, and the order of mods i should do due, which seem should be obvious, but its an enthusiast vehicle, and one i dont know much about, im a camaro z28 ls1 guy who built and ls1 with a cai and catback that makde 361/179 on a dyno using a predator with the tuning (the dyno tune is on the predator tuner). i have a fctor freak engine and sadly, have passed it onto my brother.

SO!! down to busines! **what do i do to my nismo----->first,second,third,fourth....etc

what parts (have u done, have you done)

what do you wish you did?

this could be a god sticky for first time nismo owners ( if there is one already, post it! sorry for my ignorance!) i'm lazy at the moment, budweiser for the win. (ignore any misspellings, and thanks for any responses)

It does give you that feeling...and reading your excited filled post takes me back to mines! I would recommend a shift **** first! The way you go about buying a shif **** for a 350z will very well set the path for the rest of the car! You may think I'm joking but I'm dead serious! The money you put into your first mod will tell everything about you and what you want forthe car!

P.S.

You will need forced induction for your 400whp goal ...which is more than most want to or can spend

First,congrats on your Nismo!
Secondly, many guys that buy a Nismo don't screw with it much because they
think it will hurt the resale. Its a limited prod. car,the numbered plate and all that.
Looks like your not one of those guys. That saying,if you do anything to the exterior,
it won't look like a Nismo.Nissan sorta of did all the aftermarket stuff already. It looks
like you are focusing on the engine.
Whats your budget?
If your goal is 400rwhp,no amount of bolt ons are gonna get you there.
You have to go with FI.
At 19k miles, your Nismo must be in pretty good shape.
Maybe drop in some new filters or install a good CAI.
Then plan for your hp increase.
Check your bank account.

What do you plan to do with the car? Road course events, AutoX, drag, rally (jk)? For drag racing go with a twin turbo project and get ready to open up that wallet haha. If you are 100% certain you will never want more than 400whp then GTM makes a supercharger kit for our VQ35HR motors I believe. Still a little expensive but not as bad as a full blown twin turbo build. +1 on not messing with the exterior unless you wanted lighter wheels. The Nismo suspension is pretty good for someone to practice at becoming a better road course driver. I would however replace the rubber brake lines with some steel braided brake lines for the Brembo's and dump the DOT3 fluid for some DOT4. ZSpeed makes an amazing replacement for our consentric slave cylinder if you want to put a clutch in that can handle the 400whp also.
Good luck and hope we don't read any street drifting into a pole threads from you anytime soon lol

I would suggest a Supercharger set up, they are easy to install and can net you your 400 hp goal... and leave the rest of the car alone, the outside is beautiful already. good luck man, and congrats on the car, enjoy it.

You cannot modify a NISMO without written permission from NISSAN MOTOR CO., LTD. Yes the NISMO is that special.
