Default a hypothetical question

Let's say you had a 2008 350z NISMO with less than 50K mi on it, and there was a dealer up the road with a 2012 370z NISMO sitting on their lot. Money wasn't really a problem. Why or why not?

Well, this is a 350z site, so I feel responses will be biased. The 350 Nismo is more of a raw, track car from the factory. The 370 Nismo is more suited as a daily-driver and is not as hardcore (softer suspension, seams are not hand-welded). I love the 370 interior, but I need the "race car" feel, which the 370 does not provide. So it depends on your preference. Obviously you could modify the 370 to make it more trackable, but that's additional $$$$. I do think the 370 Nismo looks better/more professional - if that makes any sense.

In my opinion, the 350 Nismo and 370 Nismo are just too similar to justify the "upgrade."

If money is not an issue keep the 350 and buy the 370.

Keep the 350z as a track car and DD the 370z. But if it was one or the other, I'd keep the 350z.

Raw and more connected are the perfect ways to describe the nismo 350. 370 is cool but its missing a certain ”rawness” from it.

Get both, the 350z will give you that "rush" of an aggressive sports car feeling while the 370z will have you content with its use of upscale materials for the interior.

I've driven both and i own a nismo 350z and the only things that made me consider the 370z nismo is the fact that it had a nicer interior and a better wheel/tire setup.

Haha, this is EXACTLY where I am coming from. I've almost said that same sentence at the dealership.
