Update: Clutch/Flywheel/Hydraulic setup is all well. No mechanical issues what so ever so that's a plus. The bad news is the rear caliper came off during driving so a new caliper and wheel is being ordered. Anyhow, on a positive note, Top Secret in Japan is making a new shift **** for me courtesy of BulletProof Automotive in LA.
This wasn't the case unfortunately. The problem was the master tech forgot to tighten up those two bolts holding the caliper, which came loose during driving. All those magic problem gremlins are gone!

that's like saying he forgot to put lug nuts on the wheels!

firestone didnt tighten my lugs after an alignment a few years back. started going down the highway and heard horrible humming and vibration and scraping. So much disaster could have in-sued that day!
#1 reason I like to do all my own work. As an aircraft mechanic I don't make those mistakes
Having the car sit in my garage for 2-3 weeks already is pissing me off. After this happened, my buddy was going to initially get him to install a set of cams, but not anymore.
So now I'm contemplating and have been contemplating on a new suspension setup along with a wheel/tire combo. For suspension, I've always told myself that the car would have to be streetable as well as having the ability to take it up to the canyons and on the track. Not really worried about the ride stiffness etc, but I want to be able to adjust. Wheels/Tires, I would like something in the 18 range for lightness, but wouldn't mind a 19 range wheel. Still not sure on offset.
If you don't know already, I drive pretty hard for the most part. I'm sure you can tell since my old potenza's were bald to the secondary rubber. Here's a list of parts for brainstorming.

-KW CS
-KW V3
-HKS Hipermax IV GT
-Tein coilovers w/edfc module/sensors
Wheels/Tires: (not sure what offset and all those specifics)
-Advan RS-D (Black)

As for the wheels selections, You really cant go wrong with any of the 3 types you mentioned, aside from the TE37 Ultra.. i believe they are only available in 20's (GTR specs go figure) A better alternative is the te37 RT.. i beleive they are available in the sizes you mentioned.

Can't believe i missed this thread. Great progress and build so far. As for suspension.. I have KW v3 and its great for street and occasional track. But if you want maximum performance... I recommend the KW CS.. ive driven on these on multiple cars including a z.. it's worlds different to the V3 and in a good performing way.
As for the wheels selections, You really cant go wrong with any of the 3 types you mentioned, aside from the TE37 Ultra.. i believe they are only available in 20's (GTR specs go figure) A better alternative is the te37 RT.. i beleive they are available in the sizes you mentioned.

In regards to the wheels I would say the Advan RSD (yes, bias opinion) with the Neova AD08Rs.
but also factoring, not as commonly seen, I have only seen a handful of Zs with them and think only one other Nismo, which he probably has changed his setup by now.
