Umm, it's only 8 years later and at least that Z will be built with the convertible in my mind, not the other way around.

Plus Fairlady Z just sounds so much sexier than 350Z IMO.
Actually you are wrong. One is LHD and the other is RHD. My point iis t doesn't belong period. But it's okay for one not the other?

Hmm UK spec is RHD and called 350Z not Fairlady Z. So what's your point? The 350Z and Fairlady Z are the same car, just called different in Japan, but the Nismo is a different submodel.

Not the same league but would you strap a z06 badge on a regular ol automatic c6 with some z06 body parts and lighter wheels? I think not, so please, stop.

we concur....for the sake of argument, if i had the chassis seam welded, put in a six speed and 06 plus motor, and had every nismo bit made for it, would it be a nismo?

Still no.

If you could make an exact replica of a dollar bill in your basement, would it be a real dollar bill? It may look like one and fool a lot of people, but it would still be a counterfeit.

I like that analogy.

Hypothetically if you ship your car back to the Nismo Omori factory and Autech...get the real deal nismo makeover by them and maybe, maybe then we can talk about getting that nismo badge... But they'll probably give that one to you themselves.

Conversely, is a Nismo Z still a Nismo when the seats, steering wheel, suspension and rear wing get replaced with aftermarket things and the engine is twin turboed?
