Hey man, I can't speak for 5AT as I run 6MT. The nitro side of the house on Z's is quite small. This can be good and bad. Yea, there isn't as much as the turbo and sc guys have to work with, but there are some good bits and pieces. That being said, if your really into running with it, you have a chance to really shine and go places most people haven't been.

As for your question, I think a few people have run up to 125 on stock internals. Im sure the rods would go long before the tranny would. I know the 5AT guys can put out some good numbers with the turbo/sc side of the F/I house.

Start small and work your way up, can't hurt!

Have fun, and good luck!

I would say 75 to get the feel, and bump it up to 100 when your comfortable. There should be no problems at that level, and like I said, with a good tune, and keeping your eye on your guages, you can run 125 safely.

I love them, I'll never get rid of them. Had them taken apart and powdercoated black.

As for the N20, I had an NX kit with MSD widow switch and controllers, Heater, guage, spx fuel adapter, etc.

i went as high as a 125 shot on my 5at on stock internals. for a single stage dont go higher then a 100 shot. the engine doesnt like too much torque in 1st and 2nd gear. you can get something called the maximizer from nx to ramp up the shots depending on what gear your in, but i think there is too much electronics involved in it and i would stay away. you want to keep things with nitrous as simple as possible to minimize the chances of failure.

you should be able to go as high as a 150 shot in a 2 stage setup. something like 75 off the line (with slicks), and then an additional 75 from 3rd gear up. ill hopefully have enough $$ left over after all my mods for the summer to upgrade to a 2 stage kit.

the etc can be a purge kit, remote opener, blow down tube (required at most drag strips), and the maximizer which i believe has a built in fuel pressure safety switch. if not, you can always buy one.
