Default N2O components and price list

I've been looking for some time into either getting a Utec for N/A tuning or going with Nitrous (if I had extra $$, I'd get both)...I'm fairly sure that I'll be going with Nitrous and just wanted to share the list I compiled of parts and projected costs.
*I won't buy all of the components listed, but wanted to see what the total would be if I wanted to. I also included a link for each component (in the past I would do research and a week later when I'm ready to buy it would take me a long time to find the product again).

basic Kit: $500
-10lb bottle and brackets
-all lines, electronics and solenoids for single stage

($470 http://www.dynotunenitrous.com/store...?idproduct=100 )

extras:

bottle heater $150

bottle opener $220

N2O pressure gauge (digital) $150

blow down tube $30

purge $70

WOT switch $20

window switch / TPS $140

N2O controller $730

fuel line adpater $50

spark plugs $14/ea
( http://densosparkplugs.carshopinc.co...e1be0225c2eefe)

nitrous filter $40

fuel pressure safety switch $50

Total $2,234
*there is some overlap of components (i.e. most N2O kits include a WOT switch)
**does not include tax or shipping

Feel free to comment on the usefullness or need of any of these components.
Hope this helps others looking into N2O.

**I don't work for any of the companies selling the parts I listed**

if u get the 2 in 1 window switch and tps...which i have, u dont need the wot switch, thats what the tps does electronically. u prob also wouldnt need the n20 controller. if u subtract those two things, u have my entire setup. i got all the dynotune parts, they are amazing. i will have pics of my entire setup later today or tomorrow.

i have also been told that u should not use iridium spark plugs with nitrous, that the copper ones are better. I picked up one step colder ngk copper plugs from www.shipstore.com i believe. you might also want to chekc out this cool like gauge shaped switch panel, makes for a clena install.

I got that and the round digital gauge and mounted them in a two gauge pod in my nav cubby and its very clean and hidden.

the controller is not a must unless your going to go with some high shots and right off the line. if you dont plan on going higher then a 75 shot, then you wont need a controller. maybe even a 100 shot.

irridium plugs are fine. plantinum plugs are what you need to stay away from. copper plugs are better but they dont last as long as irridium an you you're limited to how cold you can go with them.

not so sure you need a nitrous filter either. nitrous has to meet certains specs, and large chunks of dirt wouldnt pass.

my whole setup ran me $1400 thats includeing a billit aluminum nitrous bracket and dual purge.

I'm not looking to go over a 75 shot, so I hadn't planned on getting the controller...I'm hoping to get a complete set-up for under $1K (I'll try to buy some used parts), so that I have some $$ left to get some dyno time to make sure everything is running correctly.

You might want to consider buying the NX Stage One EFI Nitrous Kit with the GenX-2 Upgrade. It would be cheaper than buying all of the additional parts independently of one another.

This website is for info only. I have seen the kit for $515 and Upgrade for $355 at another vendor.

How much is the average install (a good install) for N20?

I can't seem to find any places in the Bay Area that want to deal with N20. It all depends on what you are doing. If you are just going to throw in a basic kit, you can probably get it done for $150. For a good quality stealthy install with alot of parts and components, I think you will pay around $500. My parts list is $2500, so $500 for an install isn't too bad. It all depends on how many parts and components you are going to be putting in and the quality of the job.
