well i just bought my Z and im purchasing a nitrous kit tomrrow and was wondering how safe if really is to run on this car, now ive been reading some post about people spraying 75 and 100 shots with no problems. but over all how does the motor take to it?
I think you will be wasting your time and money with a 55 shot. You have a 6 cyclinder Z not a del sol, throw on a 100 shot and you will have a huge grin ear to ear
Why are you asking now, your buying nitrous tomorrow.....you should have researched prior to making your decision. Anyway....I've researched your question for many months and a 100 shot is perfectly safe on this car.....if done right. You need a wet shot, one step colder plugs, some type of window switch, and someone who knows what their doing. My 100 shot will be completed on wednesday, I will post pics and let you know the results. I've heard nothing but good fun with nitrous.......

+1 ...after my install I went out with a 35 and 55 shot to make sure everything was working properly - while I could feel the difference, it wasn't much...I'm running a 75 shot and would say anything less than that might not be worth the $. (I really want to run a 100 shot but am trying to be conservative b/c I don't have the extra $ in case anything goes wrong)
well it was a spur of the moment decison. the kid asked me if i wanted it so itold him yes, but i was going to just start out with the 55 first to see how it was, then move up.
but ive had nitrous on a previous car and yes it was fun

LOL! Sounds like me when I first purchased my 03 nearly 4 years ago. I installed my nitrous kit 3 months after purchasing the car because at the time there wasn't any real turbo kits available. I ran with both a 75 and 100 shot for years without any problems. Make sure you do some research on the subject and get the right equipment.
