Not yet...but I'm thinking about it. Contact JT (Audible Mayhem)...he knows nitrous. I'd do a 11.5:1 compression setup and about 200-250 on two stages.

edit: put link in name

I was reading fi threads about built motors, but there was nothing about build motors for nitrous, so i was wondering how much it would cost to build the motor and which kinda pistons would be best.
I have no intention of going spray happy. I enjoy the night time mountain runs.
But there str fi punks around where i live that have no suspension mods, no brakes, no type of handling mod, and i can't keep up w/ them on the straight =C

no reson to build the motor in you case imo. You could just do a 100 shot on the stock motor and be good to go.

Sounds like a S/C or ST would fit your needs better, then the power would always be there and would make your mountain runs alot more fun

Exactly. Nitrous should really only be used on the track as it's a big BANG quick. If your running around in the mtns you might want to reconsider that jkstar said... Supercharger.

Nitrous would be best fitted on a straight course not the tracks with tons of turns imo.

its not my objective to use the nitrous on turns. thats unneccesary just on the straight. i don't want all the power of a supercharger
so you would build the car if for normal na applications?

i have a fully built motor setup for Turbo though. Darton Sleeves, 8.8 Weisco Pistons, Ferrera valvetrain, and Pauter Rods. Bulletproof but havent shot nitrous with it yet. I have a NX kit on the car.
