Default Malfunctioning Solenoid

The fuel solenoid in my nitrous set up has decided to stay partialy open and leak fuel all over my engine bay.

Heres the question:
Is it possible that if i were to give it power that it would close completely or do i need to seal it some how for the time being? And if I should seal it, what would be the best way?

I am selling of the whole setup but i have the fuel tap installed and cant find the factory screws.

Any help would be great cause while i wait for someone to sell me their factory screws.

Thanks for the help. That will probably fix the problem.

It might be cheaper and faster if you can just get a plug for the fuel tap, instead of waiting for somebody to sell them (most likely, you won't find anybody selling those bolts). You can get the plug/hex nut-bolt thing at any race shop.

Just a basic heads up to anyone looking for bolts for the fuel tap. Its just the average bolt that everywhere on the 350. CUX350z just tossed me a bag of spares and it worked like a charm.

Yeah, the N2O section is pretty much dead. It sucks, but what can you do?

As far as an answer to your question, I'd assume that once it stays partially open, you'd either have to service it or just replace it altogether.

BTW, when you said "fuel solenoid in my nitrous set up has decided to stay partialy open and leak fuel all over my engine bay," it doesn't really make sense. Do you mean that there was a leak in the connection, thus the fuel all over your engine bay (the readily visible space when you open the hood)? Or, did you mean that the solenoid was open, so it kept spraying extra fuel into the plenum, thus into your intake manifold?

edit - I'm reopening the thread so you can post (for the time being).

Basicaly it was leaking into my intake but i figured gas fumes in my intake could lead to possible BOOM so i took it out and hints the leak in the engine bay.

There won't be any "boom" with just fuel. You need extra air to detonate all the fuel, which you won't have with just regular NA applications. All you're doing is just making your car run rich. That will result in a lower power output and fouling your spark plugs.
