Tiiight. Just finished mine on Saturday and its running phenomenal. I got Dan's basic kit (no fuel rail or adaptor). My shop in Miami took care of the tapping and getting that 1/16th NPT-4 installed just riight. Good luck, your gunna love it.

interesting fuel adapter, can you take a pic out of the bag?

Also, sell the A/F meter, narrow bands don't do anything

Dan sent me the 100 125 and 150 shot jets instead of the 50, 75, 100 that come with the kit typically. I tested with the 100 (little risky) but she ran like a champ with absolutely no alterations (tuning, plugs nothing).

I popped in the 125 just becausae I was feeling frisky and gave her a quick 3 second shot. She held up nice.

Just popped the 100 back in to be on the "safer" side. I am going to get myself a set of plugs soon (1 step colder) either NGK or Densos not sure yet.

But IMO you should be fine with the 125 with the 2 steps like you ordered as long as you dont spray every day. I would eventually get a tune for her like most people do on this forum. I personally spray only when I have someone that thinks he's hot ****.

125 shot without pulling timing is a horrible idea.

It is also a good rule to keep it under the 35-40% rule over what the car makes naturally aspirated at the tires

I agree Powermark. But when you spray once a week, possibly 2-3 times a month and only through one maybe two gears...a 125 shot would be just fine IMO for quite some time. At least enough time to get some $ together for a tune.

I just sold an 07 Harley Davidson F150 that was supercharged from the factory. The truck has a stock 5.4L f150 engine (nothing forged except crank). People with these trucks were upping the boost one pound and blowing them up. I took mine and advanced the timing 2 degrees with a powerprogrammer and sprayed a 100 shot for 8 months on her without any spark plug swaps or timing retard and she held up like a champ.

Thats just an example of how "lucky" I am I guess with nitrous. Advancing the timing on ANY vehicle and then spraying is a horrible idea, but I risked it and was plenty satisified pumping about 450 at the tires!

Just put the 2 step colder plugs in today, it runs completely fine, no poor idle or anything. No noticeable difference in performance either. Here's a simple pic of the plug, lol. Its an HKS plug made by NGK.

Hope you checked to make sure they were the same dimensions as your stock plugs (thread reach etc) Did you regap them or check to make sure all 6 had the same gap?

Install is complete, finished late today, so I'll be sure to put some pics up tomorrow.

She's running a 100 shot right now, sprayed for a bit in 2nd gear & 3rd gear just to make sure everything works right - car is a whole different beast. Purge also works awesome, put the tube right in between the 2 windshield wipers, nothing fancy, just so I can see that it's working when I purge.

However, I won't be spraying again until I get tuned for spray on Monday and hopefully change the jets out to a 125 shot.

Dude I wouldnt even bother going to a 125 shot, you will beat everyone with a 100. Dont worry about it not being enough..and im sure the bottle will last longer at 100.

Traction is a major issue with just the 100shot, 2nd is really hard to spray in even with my brand new Eagle F1's 275's. ITs just all over the place...so really 3rd and 4th are your only gears to spray in.

Im actually debating going back to 75 for the longevity of the bottle and to get my traction back.

I agree with Twitch. I sprayed with the 100 thru 1st 2nd and 3rd and i didnt get traction once. 2nd gear sprays were all I could do (if that)

When I had the 125 in she was even worse

When you hold the 100 down in 2nd she pulls like its nobody's business.

let me tell you how bad it is for you to be free revving your engine (spinning your tires) while on the nitrous, you should NEVER try to drive through traction on nitrous. is the extra 25 hp worth it to destroy the motor in your 30k car?

Id have to say I disagree powermark. Its much better to lose traction while on nitrous then to put slicks on the car and drop the tranny spraying with traction.

slicks wont break the tranny if you know how to drive. just slip the clutch alittle.

Im not saying anything about slicks, I am saying its bad to be running nitrous on a motor that is free revving (complete loss of traction), it will destroy your motor faster than you think.

You can dial in slicks with a burn out and tire pressure to have them grab less.
