Hey all. I'm not really much of a nitrous guru, so i need some help. I'm planning on going the supercharger route in the future, but for now am looking at nitrous.
I'm only looking at about a 50hp shot. From what i understand the safest route is a wet system, as direct port would be way overkill, and i think a dry system is a bit risky.
I want the kit to be somewhat stealthy so i would probably go for either a twin 5lb bottle setup, or a 10lb bottle if i can fit it in the passenger side storage box.
My question to you guru's is what kit you would recommend that won't break the bank. I was looking at the NX EFI sytems, as they seem to be pretty well priced.
I already have the 1 step colder plugs and an AEM UEGO wideband.
Any help would be great. Thanks.

Help with what? You don't even have a question.
As far as supercharger and nitrous goes, I hear that's a great combo (nitrous's low end + supercharger's top end).

I wouldnt waste my time installing N20 for a 50 shot. You will be board of a 75 shot after about 2 bottles... I would start with 75 to get used to it then move to a 100 and be done with it. Any more then that and traction is a major issue. I can roast them through all the gears basically with my dynotune 100shot with Decent 275 Eagle F1's.

I disagree completely with "don't waste your time on a 50 shot" statement, especially given the OP's mods list (mainly the supercharger). I don't have turbo nor super, but I started out with a 35 shot. You ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS want to start out low and feel out the newly added power to see how your car likes it.
As far as recommending a kit, you have to realize that this is all personal and will always be biased. However, with that being said, I will let you search what you think is the best in your opinion and then have you ask us about that kit. With a simple search, you can find out what kind of kit each member has here. I will tell you, though, that most of us have minor gripes about each different kit (including the ones that we own).

Well i was thinking about the ZEX SMART kit, or the NX Stage 1 EFI kit.
Although i'm not sure if with the NX kit i would have to keep repressing the "GO" button every time i let off the throttle (changing gear), whereas with the ZEX kit it would spray as soon as i floor it again after changing gear.
What do you reckon?

You can make any kit spray only at WOT with a TPS (throttle position sensor).

Yes i understand that. What i mean is wether when i lift off the throttle and then repress it will i have to hit the button again, or would it be like the ZEX kit where as long as the system is armed, every time i hit WOT it will spray.
If you're talking about the Fast and the Furious (back in the old day) style where you press a button to activate, then whenever you're holding the button down (regardless of rpm and all else) is the only time it'll ever engage.

Oh man i feel like such a noob now!
I was thinking exactly like on F&F back in the day with the red button, but i didn't want that. Of course i'm not realising how much nitrous technology has probably progressed.
So basically the TPS switch would become the little red button on the steering wheel.
