i started ordering the stuff for the direct port with dry nozzles. i should have all the parts at my shop next week and will get it installed and tuned. il keep you guys updated and get pics during the install.

Why not use hard lines to reduce clutter and save room?

Easier to work with soft lines. And they are equal length and you won't be able to see any off it. Its underneath in the valley.

It might be easier to work with the braided lines, but look how unsightly they are in your pics, not to mention the amount of room they eat up. Plus, you can get equal length with hard lines.

you wont be able to see any of them when the plenum is on. and with equal length hard lines there would be a ton of bends in them to take up the extra length. and you would have equal clutter.

I don't like unnecessary clutter, regardless of its visibility. Also, you make it sound like there would be more bends than what you have with your braided lines (minute differences worst case). You route the hard lines the same way you're doing the braided, so where are these extra bends that you speak of coming from? And, the clutter is reduced because the hard lines are much thinner.

I don't care what you do with your set up and it's not like what I say will change your mind, obviously. Just expressing my opinions/thoughts. U mad?

i just never really liked the hard lines personally, they can kink and then you have to replace it. and i just feel like the hard lines are old technology and you use funnel jets with them. i got the steel braided lines a little bit longer than they really needed to be but i still have plenty of room i can bend them around and hid them a little better in the valley. once my showerhead comes in and i get the fittings installed i will play around with the extra length and see what i need to do.

Like I said, I'm not trying to convince you otherwise.. just sharing my thoughts. Either way, I hope to see some ridiculously quick times from you with your new set up (always wanted a dp set up myself). Some of us live vicariously through you!

dude im hoping to break it into the 11.0s or im gonna be very upset. i have spent a ton of $ on this dp setup.

my injectors will be here tuesday. but i want to get the car inspected before i put this on and go for the tune.

im hoping for 430/450 when i get it on the dyno.

yea not linking the distribution block or the unequal lines. but with it being a wet shot and the 2 lines to each nozzle being the same length i dont think the rest will matter, but being as im gonna run a 150 dry shot and add fuel with injectors im using a shower head and want everything as equal as possible to every port.

its really just whatever you like every person is gonna do it different to suit their wants and needs.

considering that the banks dont run equal AFR to begin with, i think your obsession with equal length nitrous lines is a little overboard. Ideally you shoulda made the drivers side longer since it runs leaner.

Like I said, the unequal length is trivial as the differences are minute, especially give the fuel/nitrous pressure. It's more of an OCD thing for me.

well after waiting a couple weeks and still not recieving my showerhead. i called about it. and it seems as the 6 port showerhead has been discontinued. so NX offered to pay the difference in price and send me the new "upgrade" well it wasnt a showerhead more of a distribution block.. but they still called it a showerhead. anyway i installed it all today. here are pics of the finished product.
