Granted this on a different platform, but it gives you a idea where your nozzle stands.
Basically this is for the NX and Dynotune guys since they didn't test the ZEX nozzle.
Those 3 kits are the ones we mainly use with a few NOS guys.
For what it's worth I changed out my Zex nozzle to a NX nozzle and jets and it was night and day.
The zex kit with the NX nozzle and jets hit harder.

Interesting read. Thanks for sharing.
//Critique..
How do you know the horsepower/torque differences are from the design differences in the nozzle? There could've been so many other factors, or combinations of specific ones, that influenced the output numbers. Plus, the output differences are not that big (between some).

True the biggest difference was between NOS and everyone else.
Reading those forums everyone expected the predator to do better due to their claim of more power earlier in the rpms.
Every nozzle is different which is evident from the pictures and using the same jettting the AFR was different. I think some of the variables were eliminated by trying to match the target AFR and keeping everything the same.
I think if they didn't do that then their test would of been invalid to me.
Shot jetting is rated differently between companies which is another variable.

Guess i'm gonna have to ditch my NOS black foggers... I don't see how they can generate that much less power, but they are down almost 40hp from the top ones while using almost the same amount of juice. Although, that engine loves making power in the high 12's a/f and they never leaned the black nozzle out to that point.
