Default NOS on auto

so what happens when I have an auto, which I do, and I put in nitrous into my car with WOT button and i slam on the gas, and it shifts gears? That split second that its spraying is going to break something in my car even with a 75 shot?

I have an auto and i have a 125 shot of nx.It works perfect and is badass to boot.125 shot is when the fun begins.Do not waste your money on and bunch of mods.Get a popcharger and some nos. Then get an exhaust and a supercharger. Then you will have saved a ton of money.I was one of the first ones to get nos on a 350z in dallas about a year ago.

if you want ur trans to last, i'd get something that shuts the system down when your car is shifting. something like a push button, which can get annoying after a while.

i have nitrous on my auto, but i "fabricated" a switch the cuts nitrous off when i shift up and then turns it back on when i've completed shifting

If you're dragracing, wouldn't be better to leave it in full auto combined with the throttle activated switch? It will shift faster than any manuals and no button to fumble with, eliminating any error that can affect your time. Just floor it and hold on .

i didnt want to cut corners on my nitrous setup. an extra $10 in parts and a few hours in the garage custom building something and having piece of mind is a lot better then having to get a new tranny down the road. then again, thats just me.

you can leave the car in drive mode, but the car DOES shift a lot faster in manual mode. stock drive mode vs stock manual mode gave about a .2 difference in the 1/4 mile. drive mode being the slower of the 2. check the tech manual.
