You can, but I probobly wouldnt if the bottle is full or close to full. If you do just hook up a blow-down tube and you'll be ok...

Car in the summer will be fine. I am not sure what the burst disk is set for, maybe 3000 psi or was is 1300 psi, not too sure. But you don't have anything to worry about. I have been living in South Florida my whole life and had nitrous on my last three cars. I never had any issues except when I forgot to turn my bottle heater off. My bottle heater is not based on temperature, its based on pressure. Since my bottle was closed, the pressure sensor saw the bottle pressure as 0 and kept heating up. I was standing in my garage and it blew. sounded funny. looked funny to with white some coming out from the trunk. That's why the burst disk is there or else it wouldv'e went kaboom. Lucky for me. The burst disks are replaceable so you don't have to replace the whole bottle.

So to make a long story short, as long as your not as stupid as me and leave your heater on (if you have one), you'll be fine.

Blow down tubes are not necessary unless you are running at the track and in nitrous bottle is in the passenger compartment as it is a track rule. Since I have a 6mt g35 sedan, I don't have to worry about it.

Let me take that back.... Since you have a Z, you may want to look into the blow down tube. While the nitrous isn't dangerous to your health (just stinks and tastes bad), it'll probably will scare you if a bunch of white smokes starts filling up the passenger compartment.

Good luck.
