By the way, Those pictures look damn good.

Good camera and Operator.

I could take pictures with a $2908343 camera and they will still look like crap.

Good job mike.

Haha thanks Mike! I like to consider it my little talent. I like to think I have an eye for shots. Like when we pulled up to that neighborhood, i'm like "holy crap, I know it's your car Aj but do you mind if I took some pictures?"

I thought the exhaust sounded pretty hot actually! You were haulin *****!!

Aj, thanks alot!! Hope you like the pictures, I used Photoshop and cleaned up the wheels alittle bit. I won't throw the burnout on YouTube, i'll just keep that for my end-of-summer car vid I make every year.

Wish I could make it to Woodward, I've gotta work, gotta make that money!

So Mike, do you drive your car year round? Aj said he had no issues with the snow, how was your experience? Last winter was mild anyhow.

Also, that guy I was talking about that lives in Canton, his screen name on here is "etx". He posted in the beginning pages of this thread. I haven't seen or heard from him since his engine blew up.

No, I keep it in the garage in the winter. For 2 Reasons.
1. I have to drive on 1 mile of Dirt between my Subdivision and the main road. (They dont plow dirt roads unless they sky falls down.)
2. My tires are usually bald by October and I dont feel like spending the money on winter wheels/tires.

Dude, I was watching the Video and Whats up with the big smoke puff when i hit the throttle? I never noticed that because I have never seen my car drive by before.

Look closesly, I let off the throttle because Im approaching the motorcyle and car, then I decide to pass and a damn smoke puff comes out?

Time for a tune damnit.

could also be valve seals. that's usually a perfect indicator but not a guarantee. Heavy throttle on and then off puts a big draw in the cylinder and wearing seals will puff.

Hard to see the color in the vid though. Blue or black? Was it on the throttle off or the tip-in?

It only has 30,000 on it, the seals can't be going already....

Hey D350Z10, dood your Z is bad azzz but mayOn if you get that z06 it will be badddER.

This accounting or public relations manager at my work has a black one, and its a bad boy. He parks it next to me alllll the time, I think he's trying to show me up, but I haven't run into em yet cuz I will bust his azz - - haha jk on that part but no I'd like to talk to him so I could sit in it. sweeet ride.

We were quoting the interior IP and Console for designing and engineering it on the new 08's c6's, If i'm not mistaken CnA did the work and they have Leather Wrapped IP and CONSOLE SEATS STANDARD, don't quote me but that is a real nice incentive, oh and they are bumping hp too.... I have the specs listed at the bottom of this reply for the new 08 c6's. Right now, Les Stanford Chevrolet is offering up to 6,700 dollars in rebate for the 07's, that not including a GM discount. Im gonna check that out next week tuesday.

Anyways good luck on that Vette man! She's a beauty, but the Z is sexier, and its gives you a lot more signature qualities, like window grease even though you know you just washed the fukr, tire roar (which I tell everyone its my engine with mods), noisy timing belt (if anyone hears it, I just tell em its natural on all nissans) after only 12,000 miles on it, corroded steering wheel (leather), hahaha..

Anyways take care all!

I agree Albop, but in Detroit there is no exclusivity with a Vette

They are like dog rap and Mustangs....everywhere....
There is a dino of the new C6.5 vette, stock it put down 389 to the wheels...insane power

they could be set up a little loose for reducing frictional losses. Like rings on an old 5.0 Mustang (which is why you can still find crosshatch in 'em at 120k miles).

I wouldn't worry too much about it. If it gets exessive it would be something to look into.

LOL "2.73 performance axle ratio". I laugh every time I read that. Bill it as a Top Speed option or something. If you wanna call it a "performance" ratio gimme a 4.30 option box to check!

True.......but for some of us there's still no replacement for a v8. I love this little car but I drool even riding in my buddy's new Impala SS just because of the sound. Miss that.

Sean I agree..on alot of the above

I have a Camaro as well, and there is no replacement for displacement....
I have always worked on them, and still do.

4.10's or go home.....at least a 3.90
one of these times you should meet up with us.
I'll have my buddy give a ride in his bolted and juiced 06 GTO...the cam we put it in it sounds just NASTY

There truely is no replacement for displacement, but for what i'm looking for, i'd really enjoy having a Z everyday to drive. Thats for sure!

I was surprised to see a couple guys give me a thumbs up on the way out of the parking lot yesturday. I burned through a 1/4 tank of gas just doing 130mph to catch up to Bob and zipping back and forth through traffic at 100mph.

I'd love to have a GTO again, but I'd personally not like to have the problems I had with it.

My SS has 4.10 gears in the rear. Thing's a rocket straight line-wise. I shoulda taken you guys for a ride, it still hauls with people. Maybe I should look into a G35 instead of a Z, for the back seat (just incase)

I used to run 4.56 gears in my DD Mustang. wanna talk about a 1st gear that would rip your head off. LOL

One of these days I'll definitely meet up with you guys. I'm right down Squirrel and work at University and 75.

LOVE the Goats. HATE the wings on 'em.

I think you'd enjoy it a lot. This car feels every bit as fast as my Cobra was. Being probably 400# lighter helps but it's plenty quick enough for a DD. Just an old school guy I guess and miss the rumpity rump of a cammed V8. LS2 swap might fix that.

G35s are nice but don't get one with the idea of hauling people back there. From what I've seen the back seat in those looks like the one in my Cobra. Good enough for small kids but that's about it. Or did you mean the sedan?

No, coupe. Only because I guess having the backseat may be better than not having one at all maybe? I don't freakin know..this sucks! Aj really messed it up for me now lol. I had so much fun driving his car!
