I bought an electric razor, that was previously open.
I go to hook the thing up and there is no freakin power cord...
Whoever returned it kept that so I couldn't even plug the damn thing in...

It was $180.00 for that, all the damn parts should be there....
Mike-you need a ride tomorrow night?
I will cruise you up there if you want, PM me and I will give you directions to my place

That's crazy, why were they giving you such a hard time?

BTW, happy birthday bro! I just turned 23 on July 4th.

I was taking the car to Suburban Nissan, which suck my *** btw.
And they told me that the 350z transmission is generally notchy, and what I was experiencing was normal. Even when I test drove it with them.

Then someone from my office told me that Dick Scott Nissan in Canton had a great service department.

So, I take it there, Not only are they doing my axel ticking TSB, which Suburban refused. But I drove the car with them for .2 seconds and the Master Tech heard the grind and said. Well, thats good enough, Ill order you a new transmission.

So, I owe them a life debt.

If your buying a car or having yours serviced, go to Dick Scott Nissan in Canton Damnit.
They dont mess around.

Well that's good! I was just at Suburban Nissan last night talking with the sales people about the Z. Sales wise, they have always been cool, whereas Dick Scott Nissan had jerk-off sales people. I remember when I went on a test drive in a 04 Z (This is seriously how long i've been shopping for one..pathetic). He took me down this dead end road next to the dealer and did a huge 180 in the car and goes "Yeah, it's pretty cool". I was like "Wow.." and left the dealership afterwards.

Not to panick you Mike, but make sure you don't have anything valuable in the car. ETX (the guy who lives in Canton with the turbo Z) took his car there for service and they stole some stuff out of his car.

Here is my Suburban Nissan Sales experience.

https://my350z.com/forum/2003-2009-nissan-350z/263991-checked-out-an-07-at-the-stealership-today.html

I guess I shouldnt judge a place by one sales guy, but that guy was a douche.

And I have had multiple bad encounters with service.

To each his own. Im just happy that my problem is finally getting taken care of,

So MikeNT, your really going to get a Z.

I have some advice, Since you waited this long. Just wait for the 370Z to be released.

If I had patience I would have had a 335 right now. Im not saying im dissapointed with my purchase but over 400+ whp with $2500 in work would be nice.

Im figuring, 335i with Proceed V2.0 and Exhaust would get you there.

I'm really thinking i'm getting a Z this year. I truely have waited for a long time, but personally i'm not sure exactly yet. Theres alot of "particulars" i need to sort out first.

I'm not in too much of a rush for horsepower either, I'd personally rather turbo the Z than get the 370z. Only reason I say that is because it'd be more fun, for me to build the car up slowly. Plus, having owned 2 400hp vehicles, yes it's fun, man does it suck in gas for daily driving...Today was my moment of despair. I filled up yesturday, $62, and i'm already down to just under 3/4 tank, after driving 110 miles over the past two days. I personally don't think it's going to bother me that the Z is slower. It's fun to drive, sounds great, and gets great (well..much MUCH better..) gas mileage than my SS. The GTO got comparable gas mileage, but wasn't that fun to drive and had the worst manual transmission to me. It was a handful to drive.

We'll see though, nothing is ever set anymore. I say this now, but I could realize it may not be the right time to get a Z. The main thing that bothers me is losing the backseat. I mostly have 2 other people with me at all times. Z would elminate me ever being the driver in these situations. Which means i'd either have to leave my car (at home or at the friends house/apt complex), or drive seperately and potentially waste gas.

I thought about the G35 but i've never been able to find one used for a good deal, whereas I can find tons of Z's at reasonable prices, or get a new 07 at a decent MSRP price too. Just gotta find a way to get it under $400 per month some how.

Yeah, Suburban Nissan sucks. When I took my car there for the axle clicking TSB, they didn't fix it right, plus they gouged the hell out of both rear wheels. After they sent the wheels out TWICE to be repaired, I ended up suing them in Small Claims Court.

When is your car going in for trans swap? I want to see how it shifts so I know what to look for.

AJ / Shifty Mike,

I wouldn't get the brakes done at the dealer -- especially if you have Brembos. I did my rear brakes on Saturday -- easiest thing I have done to my Z. All you need is a pair of pliers to change the pads.

If you still want to pay, get a quote from the dealer and I'll do it for half of that.

Mike/H8bumps

Im having a friend do all 4 brakes for $350 including parts. (He gets the Suburban Employee discount).

I guess the only thing that I enjoy about Suburban as a company is that I get discounts on parts from them from my friend.

My car is already in the dealership, They are replacing the transmission and doing the axel tsb. Im excited to drive on the new transmission, everyone that has it is saying it is so much smoother than the old one.

Happy B day Shifty/Mike K!!!!!!

Tell Amy I said HI!

That is a nice deal for them to do it for all four with parts.
They will probably turn your rotors too while they are there...I think they have to now-adays....

You know when you are going to get it back???
Next week sometime?
