Jeff, I went to midas got all the gaskets for the exhaust, & I took some Mothers polish to it with a polishing ball !! looks like chrome now

Ride the line, I put a K&N cold air intake on, & now I'm putting on a Injen SES exhaust & a Plenum spacer.... It is a blast when we all get together!! & line the Z's up!!

Where did you get the Z from? Did you buy used or new?

 

Wow, so does the exhaust look shiny as hell now? Was it able to get the burnt stuff on the front of the pipes?


Im looking forward to the install day. I am curious to see what the pipes look like, also to hear the sound again of that exhaust on a stock Z.

 

Mikent256, I got it at Gerweck Nissan in Monroe, I bought it brand new & it still smells brand new. I've had it for three years now! & I only have 8,000 miles on it. My Z has never seen snow or rain before!! Its just a toy!! Do you need a roadster for pic.??

 

Yeah I wouldn't mind taking some shots! Just gotta wait till next year now...weather looks crappy.

Who would be interested in getting their Z detailed by me? I'm going to do my co-workers Z in the next couple of weeks or so. My dad has access to his shop's detail bay during the weekends. It's obviously not for free either.

It is pretty straight forward, and I have help Mike take that damn thing off and on so much I can almost do it with my eyes closed...

 

I'm still here. Work is out of control, so I don't have a lot of time to browse the forum during the day. Plus, the Z has been in the garage for the last few weeks, so I'm not on as much in the winter anyway.

Actually, I *did* bring the Z out last week, but just to drive to the dealership for a new top. Dick Scott in Canton was really good about replacing the top under warranty. Just picked it up today -- all better.

So, exhaust party on Saturday? If there's beer, I'm there -- at least for a couple hours.
