Well I'm not storing mine and I start sweating everytime the weatherman says theres a chance of snow.
Not looking forward to driving my Z in all the salt I keep hearing about, or trying to get traction with low profile 275 series tires in the back....
But I just cant put it away.
Oh and has anybody else had problems with the tire pressure sensors? My right rear keeps reading 0 until I hit some bumps or peel out.

Mack,

I don't drive the Z in the winter but in the past I always drove RWD cars in the snow..... my only advice is to buy some Blizzaks. I've heard they make a world of difference in the snow; a 275 performance tire will struggle in the snow.

Well guys, I started on my spacer to night! and I got the intake manifold collector off!!.. tomorrow . I'm going to paint my engine cover red, And start sanding, buffing my intake manifold collector to look like chrome!! & I ordered a polished aluminum oil cap with the Z logo on it!!

I do have ? .. when I'm putting it all back together torquing the bolts down to (torque settings) my torque wrench is a 1/2" drive & my socket is 3/8" If I put a adapter on going from 1/2" to 3/8" will it change the torque & make the setting untrue??

Craig,

Adding an adapter to go from a 1/2 drive to a 3/8 drive will not affect the torque that the torque wrench applies. If you were to add an extension such as a breaker bar to the end of the wrench's handle then this would throw off the torque numbers because of the extra leverage that could be applied via the breaker bar. Don't forget the plenum bolts are tightened using inch/lbs.

Looking forward to seeing pics of the upper manifold once you've sanded and polished it.... post pics.

Billy,
Next week I will be able to help
I am going to start working back at CTC again.
So after work I can give you a call, and swing over to help.

PM me your Cell man.

Mike K-good luck with those investors man!!!

If anyone can help, this Saturday I am going to be taking my car all apart and putting the stock stuff back on.

I am going to Gary's so power tools and a lift will be accessible, so it should be fairly easy. Just throwing that out there. I will supply the beer, and food.

Also good test pipes are available now too..
Best bang for the buck...

$80.00 and there yours..
