Depending on how much $$ I have and how much you're selling for, I might be interested in the spacer and maybe the HFC's. Maybe we can do a direct transfer from your car to mine

Does the spacer come with any gaskets or bolts? Are the crawford cats the ceramic or metallic kind? And are they the newer version with the new support bracket? A bit worried about HFC's cracking. I can talk to you a bit more about it this weekend.

 

^^ Where are you doing the uninstall / Install party? Do you need a hand? I recently did my test pipes so I'm familiar with the angles to get at the inlet bolts from inside the engine bay.

 

The spacer doesn't need any gaskets, but it comes with longer bolts. I kept my original bolts, so everything needed to install the spacer will be included.

HFC's came with new bracket. Not sure what kind Crawford cats are. But if they didn't crack in the year or so I've had them on my car, they should be fine.

Phreakedout: yes, any help is appreciated. I'm planning on doing the uninstall party on the 20th.

And for everything I'm selling: I'll sell it for a fair price. You can try it and if you don't like it, return it and I'll sell it to someone else.

 

I believe they are ceramic substrates. Metallic substrate cats are always a round body.

Unfortunately, I can not make the 20th. The wife and I head to Cancun on the 19th so we can enjoy hurricane season up close and personal. WTF were we thinking? LMAO!

If for some reason Azn doesn't buy the spacer, I'd be interested. I have test pipes so no need for the HFCs unless Al Gore comes knocking at my door.

 

OK, looks like I'll be uninstalling on Saturday. I have an appointment at Discount tire to replace the bald tires at 10:30 sat morning, so I'm thinking by 12:30 or 1:00 I should be ready to start un-modding the Z.

So far I have AJ coming over to help. Any additional help is always appreciated. PM or call me or AJ for directions.

Also, if anyone wants to see Osiris/Cipher before I uninstall it Saturday would be a good time.

Thanks again to everyone who helped out on Saturday. Now that the Z is almost stock again (just have to reflash with Osiris), I'm going to have a bunch of stuff for sale. I'll post it up here in the next week or two, but if anyone is interested in any of the mods in my sig, let me know.

 

As a few of you have seen, I've been trying to sell my Z for almost a month now, and I haven't had a single non low ball offer. So I am thinking I will just start parting out the car locally and see what people want. There are only a couple catches to this. First off, I will not part anything else out, until I can sell the Nismo LSD w/ the 3.9 FD. Basically because dealerships don't want modified cars for trade ins on their lots usually, and it's noticeable right away that I have modified that. The other catch is that, since I had no intentions of selling this car this soon while I was modifying it, I sold almost all my stock parts. So if there is something you want off my car, then I need your stock parts + cash. All my mods are in my signature, for anyone who's interested. I am heading out the door to work right now, so I don't have time to list everything with prices, but you guys know what a fair price for everything is. Shoot me some offers, and we'll go from there. But like I said, the LSD has to go first before I'll part out everything else. Thanks.
