Rob, I also have some family in grand rapids. Maybe we can caravan over there on friday night, race saturday, come home sunday.
It definately is an amazing beginner's track. It's not too technical and gives you lots of places to go full throttle.

I actually liked the Ramada :x

It sounds like a blast, I for sure want to go. I'm not going to lie though, thinking about it makes me kind of nervous. I've never been to the track before and I've only had the car for like 3 months now. What better way to learn then to go to a beginner track right?

You will have an instructor for your first time
They will teach you the line, exit speed, etc.

You will only stay in 3rd gear the whole time, and never really shift.
You will love it, just be ready to change the fluids after it...you do eat up tires and brake pads..

Billy, if you are going, there is no way I am missing it..

It'll definately be awesome. As AJ said, there are track instructors that will help you get comfortable on the track. I fully believe 100% that a track day should be part of driver's education. You learn so much about handling and proper driving.

By the end of the day, you'll feel much more confident in driving the car and you'll have tons of adrenaline pumping through your veins.

I can't wait.

Well, you talked me into it. I don't think I could pass this up. BTW, thanks for the insight, I feel more relaxed about it knowing that they help you out out there. It'll be awesome to see you guys out there, it'll most likely be the first time I meet any of you, seeing as how most of our Z's will be in hibernation until then.

Sounds like there's going to be a good Z showing based on this initial response. I can't miss it then! Count me in.

The main thing to fear is getting hooked!

Steve - Dont fear getting hooked. You need to embrace it, the harder you fight it the worse it will become. lol.

Shiawase - If you are talking about your buddies club racer s2k, your Z will need more than that. I played with him on our last time out.

Billy - I will believe this when I see it, but if you go I will definitely be there.

I hope the turnout is as good as the interest. This is definitly a fun track, and with a good group of us I am sure it will be even better.

Oh man, that's a bummer. That would be a traumatizing event.

AJ - Ohhhh, it'll be fun! I'm pretty sure I'll be the one eating your dust. lol. I haven't really decided which car I want to bring out. I'm leaning towards the S2000.

Rob - It's not fun without a little bit of competition isn't it. Though, with all your experience, I'm sure I'll see you go by a few times.

Johnny - No, stock AP1. They're pretty fast in the right hands (not saying I'm the right hands! lol).

dude no way man, I'm just as noob as everybody else (maybe even more lol). Hell, I've only had the Z for 8 months! I only did about 4 autox's and 3 HPDE's this year. And previous to this all I did was off-roading. So I'll be just along side everybody else

I think the most experience track ppl would be either Steve or AJ. But I'll definitely give it my best!
