Picked up the Z today and it was well very very nice to drive it again! The piggy back unit and headers made it move even faster than before! Seems Dan is a wize with the dyno and in the end I am glad they got the car running great.

Zless did you end up Dynoing?
why does Dan only think 255 to the wheels?
i think ive seen Z's on here making that w/ intakes and exhausts
he is working on my friends Evo right now, doing some crazy installs.

In the end the car runs so much better and faster he thinks with the y pipe he put on 260 to the rears. 255 for sure if I got him right it was 245 without the y pipe and that was pretty good. Other than the headers and y pipe and the high flow cats and intake that is all I have to, and the piggy back unit. I would say 260 is pretty good and Dan said get rid of the stock exhaust and it will only go up from there.

Exhaust
Yes, get rid of that stock exhaust and you should see more gains. The intake is getting air in the engine more quickly, and the headers, cats, and y-pipe allow good flow probably until it hits the stock muffler. I think most of your gains are due to the cats and y-pipe though because they were the real bottle neck for air flow. 260 rwhp is a pretty respectable NA number. Did you gain or loose rwtq?

I would say lost it. The high end picked up and it growels at 60 screams at 80 and just wants to race at 100. But the low end if that is your question just flat out gone.

no, no nitrous, the green line was a baseline dan did on someone elses Z, my dyno was with helix test pipes, Injen intake and for those who blieve that grounding kits give hp, a grounding kit. so really just 2 mods. some ppl say the z base is around 230 because they think nissan lied, i duno i just wish i did a dyno on my own car as a baseline because each motor is different. but dan did say that he dynoed a nitrous z and with a 75 shot it put exactly 75 to the wheels.... not sure if it was yours or someone elses but none the less good news to hear.
I only got the dyno because i want to see how much hp my pulley makes for the z so I can advertise that #. im shooting for 5-7 for N/A cars across the entire power band. should have the numbers by the end of March. I'll post weight reduction in the pulley to you guys when it comes in along with a pic (maybe)

Ready for the snow to shut off for a long warm even hot summer! I am looking forward to a nice warm sunny day right now it is not funny. I was reading on the forum about a guy driving around the country in his Z hitting all the events as many as he could and just driving. I told him when he gets close to Michigan we could meet up with him and drive to the next group of Z owners. It sounds like a great idea, only if you disconnect the odomiter.
