Sunday at 230pm somewhere by Woodward and 13 mile. Oh and Cain get your car washed. You must be spending a lot of time working on the new Azeal. There has been a lot of Nissan guys coming to my building. See them a lot and they are all driving big SUVs and Titans.

Got the prototypes for the club car logo stickers today and the zdayz as well. Found a really cool graphics person and they are going to put together some stuff for us.

ETX,
What in the world happened to your Z? Please tell me that you didn't put a hole in that block? Throw a rod? Did you have enough timing pulled? Give us some details? Sorry about the bad news.

Well, I got it out of storage about a week ago. All week I worked on it getting it ready for a trouble free summer. First, I replaced the wastegate gaskets on the passenger side cause I was too lazy to do them last summer when I did the driver side. Then I changed the oil, and drilled out the lower jet on my fuel pump to help reduce the pressure from the walbro 255 pump. It was running like a champ, the best it's ever run since I installed that bigger fuel pump. My EGT probe wasn't working for some reason but no big deal. So last friday was the first time I drove it, ran great. No boost, I haven't boosted it since last year before I put it away. The PC i built in that I use to watch my AFR isn't working cause the HD died. So after drilling that jet and lowering the fuel pressure I didn't want to lean it out so I simply didn't boost. So this morning it's running great, I'm coming up to haggarty on Ann Arbor road and the light turns red. I let off the throttle, then out of nowhere my motor sounds like it's got a mouth full of marbles. It's dead, and I'm leaving a snail trail of oil as I coast into a parking lot. Then I had to battle with roadside assist to get them to take it to my house and not a dealer. Someone finally comes after 2 hours and they say they can't do it, but in reality they just didn't want to do it. So then roadside tells ME to call around and find someone, I call dick scott and they hook me up. The guy showed up real quick and did a great job of loading the Z. Took it too my house and we left it in the drive. The flatbed had about 3 quarts of oil on it, And I managed to pick up a few chunks of the motor before we left the scene.
I'm convinced it was a bent rod that finally took a shoit. I just hope the block is ok and those chunks are from the lower oil pan or something. I can good forged internals for around $1700 complete, so I'm gonna pull the motor asap and take a good look at it. And I'm selling my sportbike to help pay for this mess. I'm not too upset, I do this to all my cars and in the end I have a much faster car. I was upset enough to go out and get myself a new toy, a Sony PSP, heh. I'll be sure to post some pics when I get this thing apart. I've never pulled the motor from a rwd car in my garage before. It should be fun tring to pull the trans out. :/
And I'll still looking for a shop to rent, and I could use it more now than ever. So if anyone has any ideas please lemme know. I kinda wanted to buy a building to use as a shop and to live in, but now I don't think ill be able to pull that off any time soon.

Waterford Hills Racetrack
If anyone is interested, on May 10th there is a DE event at Waterford Hills race track organized by one of the local Porsche clubs. They accept other cars to help fill up the run groups. I went last year and it was great. You drive like you could never drive on the street. I'm planning on going and I know that they still have openings. If I remember correctly, it's 4 times 20 mins on the track for $150. You get bfast, lunch, an instructor in each car and some classroom instruction. They place you in groups depending on your car and experience. Passing is allowed only on the back straight and overall it's very safe.
You can check out their web site at http://rsp.pca.org and the Waterford Hills site www.waterfordhills.com
