Detroit Area Z List part 3
My GF and I were out and about for a bit... And I was shocked to see two other Zs out that night. They aren't exactly common around here
The other one was a silver Nismo 350 with a personalized plate (don't remember what it was...)

From the email:
We will hold our 3rd monthly meeting this month. (Sorry August was skipped)
Buca Di Beppo Italian Restaurant.
38888 6 Mile Road, Livonia -
Restaurant Ph # (734) 462-6442
Meet there at 7:30pm. Leave before 9pm.
Table will be under Robert Tam
It won't be very crowded on a week night, lots of big tables in several rooms, they have beer and good food. I plan on getting dinner like last time.
Please look at the attachment for logo ideas and be prepared to vote. We will also be finalizing the membership packet (rules, cost, etc.)
All other agenda items will be emailed out before the meeting.
Hope to see some new faces!

Went to a wedding down at the Omni in Detroit this weekend. Saw two Zs. A black coupe(not sure of the year forgot to ask) at the hotel and a silver 2004 coupe at the gas station. Both just said they were out for a Sunday drive. Nice to see a few others out and about.

I'm not sure what happened, but my work laptop finally has access to my350z.com again!!! Woo-hoo, I'm back!
Our anti-virus was picking up some script from this site so it automatically blocked access to it. The ability to label it as a safe site was also blocked. I tried it by chance today and hot damn it works!!!!
Sorry I was offline so much for the past month and a half. Checking my350z using an iPhone sucks and so does using one of the other computers around the house.
Anyway, it's good to be back.

Well, JonnyBoy was able to provide a helping hand yesterday with the StopTech install. Thanks Jon! Went through a bed-in cycle last night. All is good. Will need one more bed-in since these dtc-70 race pads are ridicuous..
First impression is that they provide confident stopping power. Very smooth and predictable - they seem to run well with my rear OEM Brembos (w/ pfc-01 race pads). StopTech suggested a different front setup than the default kit for my Enthusiast due to using the rear brembos. This had to do with the piston sizes and balancing the front and rears.
I actually have a nice range of braking modulation now with the StopTechs. My old brembos were either FULL ON of Off.. with little modulation and extreme sensitivity. So far, I'm really liking the new kit. I would have preferred to spread the money around to other mods.. but I was very tired of my braking issue and needed a 'solution' not another 'attempt at fixing'
.
I did learn a few things along the way though.. line pinching, bleeder sizes, thread sealer, caliper rebuilds, filing backing plates, greasing slides, identifying impending doom due to extreme brake fade, speed bleeders, dremel usage on caliper slides and backing plates....

Do you know if this update will also solve the SOS problem with the GPHD cameras? I have already installed this, but I am curious.
