Winter Driving
Since I will be driving my Z year round when I receive it, who else is driving the Z year round? Just curious since this neck of the woods tends to be a bit white. I remeber that Winter 2001-2002 was fairly mild. So far Winter 2002-2003 has also been fairly mild. I think something like 2 snow days.
What's everyone's take on year round driving?

Im goin year round on my Z, its my only car and i wouldnt have it any other way. Im totally happy when i am in this car in ways that no other car short of a corvette makes me feel. I am thinking if i cant handle it as-is, ill try the sand bag method, and if that wont work, i have a friend in the tire business who will be able to do mounting and balancings free with some all seasons as a last resort. So far i havent had any problems driving on
20°F pavement that wasnt my own dumb fault (pulled a double oversteer on some black ice going around a corner, recovered fine and it was fun and all but now I know NOT to do that anymore) Im still used to FWD having a 2001 civic ex as my last car and never got to take my dads vette out in the winter yet. I really need to learn how to handle RWD on cold pavement i guess. when it was warmer last weekend i was havin tons of fun taking corners and not slipping at all. I was even trying to get a feel for power slides around one way corners in some industrial areas.... Sooner then later i will hopefully be in tune with my vehicle and know all of its do's and don'ts.

I drive my CS Touring all year round...but Not without my LM22's from Tirerack..they are amazing and i even drove them at 100mph this weekend (impressive road holding for dedicated snow tires)
Dont risk get the snow shoes!
