DETROIT Z (meets and events)
You would have thought they'd post a reason for such a steep rate hike. The 2008 rental rates are on their website now.. So I don't think that person made a mistake. Oh well.
No autorama this year... my old sponser went out of business "tuning "*** up" Factory".. So my car will not be in the event. It is not worth the money to enter you car in the event.. the two years my car was in it.. the event was below par, my personal opinion.

The spring compressor is a major PITA, another option would be to do the installation yourself but have a shop swap the springs out on the shock assemblies. The backs are really simple.... took Mike and I about 35 minutes a piece and that was after we all dealt with the fronts in the morning.

Here's some pics with and without the Hotchkis setup:

The Hotchkis kit drops the back a little more than the front which makes the car sit flatter and not have the raised a$$ look.
Hope the link works

Thanks for posting the pics. I never got to see it finished, the car looks awsome. Did you ever need to get an alignment after the install???? What are your impressions with driving it?
I am trying to descide if I want the Hotchkis or the Cobb.

Wassup fellas... Well my trip to Forged was a great trip. The car was on the dyno being broken in, and should ship back next wek! Here are some pics at my putfile site: www.putfile.com/d350z

I am trying to decide if I want the Hotchkis or the Cobb.

I never got an alignment after the install last summer... but when the car comes out I'm probably going to take it in to get checked even though there are no noticeable alignment issues.
So far I like the feel of it even though I have not gone to a track to really take advantage of its potential. From what I've noticed the ride comfort has stayed the same, the car really seems to sit flat in the corners; any body roll it had seems gone.
AJ - How did your friends get saturday meets already?? I have been e-mailing and calling for 2 weeks now. They are still making the schedual or something but yet they think almost all the Saturdays are rented already. I asked how they did that when they dont have a schedual and she couldnt give me an awnser. Once again I am waiting for an e-mail or call from someone there to set up a date.
