Default local Detroit audio shop... recommendations?

I'm in the Detroit area and I'm trying to find out if anyone has had some audio work done on their Z. I have the stock system (not bose) and I am dying to get something better in it. I have a guy I've used in the past on Woodward in Royal Oak, but he's never worked on a Z... any comments or suggestions regarding upgrades and shops who have experience with Z's?

dont go to car toyz on 8mile. they wanted $600.00 to build me a box. they think just because u have a nice car, that u have money to blow. ill stick to my bose for now.

i have a rockford punch800
panasonic dvd/cd-r 40x4 + pre amp sterio
1.0 farad digital lightning cap
4 12-inch cerwin vega 800watt subs (2-3 to be installed)
AND no box.

i dont know. i'd like some other places i can go to as well.

I think I'm going to order that custom enclosure from Paul in Ca.

Looks like it would be pretty sweet.

After I get it, I might get ambitious and install the stuff myself. It's been a while, but I'm sure I can figure it out :O

Yep. As far as I can tell he only has a mold for the driver side back corner. I talked with Skip (his partner) and he said that the volume was about .6 cubic feet. The enclosure is 375 plus shipping. I'll probably get the sub from them too just because that is the sub they designed the box around.

Here is the contact info...
Streetnoyz

Paul or skip

best bet is to diy and save some money.

im pretty sure car toyz would do it, on 8 mile.
but they wanted 600 from me and that wasnt even the under the strut bar setup.
