yard work season officially started. I took out 3 large trees in my yard last fall. It is looking kind of bare right now. planted my first replacement though... burgundy ball maple.

Looking to do some detaching tomorrow. getting out the big dog mower tomorrow as well. 52" scag tiger cub zeroturn. can mow my ~3/4 acres of grass in about 18 minutes!

Nice!!, Back when I lived in Elko with my parents they lived on 2.5 acres and we were able to get it done in 45minutes but that was with him on a Toro 72" and me on a old Yardsman 42"

We recently ordered some trees and bushes through the Dakota County or Apple Valley deal. I think we're supposed to pick them up next weekend. I had to cut down an ash tree last summer, and I'm ready to tear out some arborvitae trees and bushes. I hate that stuff.

I have at least 2 ash trees in my yard.. I did take 2 down last fall. one was split by a storm and looked a little rough. the other was growing into one of my maples canopy and also into my evergreens. I also lost one of my nice maples. it was showing signs of heart rot and was within 30 feet of the house, so I wasn't going to risk it going down over the winter or next yr, so that one went. Just need to get the stumps removed

with the more decorative and accent type plants/shrubs I am lost. I hate dealing with them. I have a good friend that sells lawn service for a company and I sent him pics of my house and he is going to give me some suggestions. Now is a good time to get things. You can get bare root for a fraction of potted

Tempted to take the day off since it's going to be nice, but then I'm going to want to spend money.

What happened, Alex?

Five guys burgers and fries? Oh man, that place is good. I went there during winter while in Dallas for work. I liked it better than smashburger, especially the cajun fries. I didn't know they were up here.

Radio just said possible snow tomorrow night? I'm tired of taking all of my damn plants inside and out over and over again. On that note my beans are already flowering, they're growing like mad. The others not so much.

Yeah, as far as Batteries good it is hit and miss because they have a label doesn't mean anything, most of the batteries you will buy are made by johnson controls which mass produces interstate, diehard, and walmart batteries. So, the biggest thing you should look at is if it is AGM or LA and what is the warrenty vs price, (walmart three year free replacement for 65.85 or diehard three year free replace for 110)
