Height fittment issue w/ this particular CRP product, its not fiberglass or CF.

The bottom nut/bracket was pinching hood on side/top.

That y pipe was new, it only lasted 2 months

 

Alex, what do you keep doing to blow through Y pipes so fast? pun intended

 

New battery and the z is up and running got it home let the good weather come on haha

And, ****ingay, the hood isn't happy w/ height....um, probably bc the ****ING CRAWFORD PLENUM IS IN THE WAY...dinged corner of plenum, and gouged BRAND NEW HOOD!
Z has a date with some weatherstripping tomorrow STAT

 

Five guys is the ****.... I love it. First time I had it was in miami. They have one in maple grove and one in rochester too. A million times better than smashburger for sure.

 

They also have one in dinkytown.

So now shock and rant bout new hood is over, guess I can prob use those dampers after all if it was the crawford all along, lol

 

Here are some pics.

I picked the car up from Cali on Friday and drove it back over the weekend. While i was in Wyoming a mule deer jumped out in front of me while i was going around a curve. I swerved and missed the deer but rubbed up against a reflector pole so the passenger side has some scratches but insurance is coming out tomorrow to get things figured out.It sucks but oh well ill take the scratches over a totaled new car any day. I am thinking about taking it to LaMettry's in Eden Prairie to have the stuff fixed. Anyone taken their cars there before?

She is daytona blue, 43k miles, no mods, base model.... but she is still fun to drive! 6spd.

Sweet my buddy just sold his 06 evo was a fun car. He had a AMS intercooler, ingen intercooler piping and intake, Tanabe racing turbo back exhaust, different turbo header, BOV, and a few other goodies. He had it tuned at DB in rogers and think he ended up with close 300 AWH. It was a sweet car. How does it compare to your Z?

Btw, I bought my Z 3 years ago in LA and drove her home....gorgeous drive....bet ya loved the 1800 miles w/o cruise....hahah I did

 

yeah the whole no cruise thing wasn't really a happy moment ha. But the drive was pretty sweet. Just looooooong.

 

bah that ain't nothing. Try going out to Zdayz and back with no cruise. I'd take off my shoes to make it comfortable and I'd switch feet to hold the accelerator down.
