got around 60 miles on the car with no problems other than it not boosting much. It has some, but not what it should. Brought it to a turbo guru buddy and he thinks the wastegate diaphram might be bad and blowing boost pressure past the wastegate actuator. Or the wastegate is sticking open some. Thats tonights project.

As for a little update on my Z, got that Z1 clutch + flywheel installed. (thanks for the recommendation) The engagement point feels a little lower, so that took a little getting used to, but it works nice and its damn nice to have that pull when you touch the pedal again. Got bored a few nights ago and ordered the JWT pop charger intake, and plan on attempting that install myself when it arrives. Then hopefully get some tint on in a couple of weeks.

I know the MN limit on tint is 50%, and I know that there are a lot of cars out there with lower tint than that. Anyone here ever get bugged by the cops about that before? I wouldn't plan on going like 5% or anything crazy, but 50% just doesn't do it for me.

how much did you pay for the install if you don't mind me asking also I have 33% tint on my Z haven't had any problems but in Eden Prairie and in Red Wing is the worst from what I've heard. Just remember if you have all black interior it is going to seem darker than what it is.

I've got 35% on my G. In the 4 years I've had it done I've been bothered once. Typically only highway guys that will bug you about it. I usedto have a prescription for it (fuchs dystrophy) but they expire every 2 years and never went to get it renewed.

I've got 15% on the front 2 windows and rear window. Local city cops haven't had an issues but State Troopers are another story. I have gotten hassled by 3 of them on separate occasions to the point they are going the opposite direction and turn around to follow me. They have major issues with tint that is too dark. I've started riding with the driver's side window down and it's been better.

Might as well get rid of that t-stat.

I've got 35 or 40 on the rear hatch and 50% on the door windows. I don't need it dark, but it's nice to have a subtle shade to the PPW.

I know one of the mechanics at Christy's auto in Brooklyn Center, so they did it for me. Clutch + flywheel, new trunk struts install, and they replaced some of the gaskets in the exhaust all for just under $550.

And I do have black on black, with the black interior, so if that makes the tint look darker, maybe %50 will do it then.

When smooth said he had 50% he actually had 40-44% we had it done by some independent guy who does awesome work for a decent price. He had a device that cops use to determine how dark it is so 50% one place could be darker or lighter than the next. They usually have a display there so make your decision there cause legal 50% tint is hardly noticeable and not worth getting in my opinion.

I love driving with the windows down, no matter how hot. But I'm weird like that. So says the wife.

Not a bad price at all. That's about the same as what I paid. Actually, I think I paid about $100 less. I had a coupon. Thanks, Ryan!
