^ Dave SmoothZ has a nice setup that he likes, can't remember what it is so he'll have to chime in on that part.

SmoothZ aka Smooge has the Z1 motorsports clutch and flywheel combo. I personally have driven it and I must say it does feel just like stock. You also cant beat the price either go to their website or talk to them on here theyre always on.

Clutch + flwheel combo for $600? From what I've been seeing online, I can only assume i need to throw my wallet through my computer screen. How's all this chatter I'm reading about having a lightweight flywheel?

Once my roommate catches up on rent, I'll let you know. But he's one of those guys that loves to spend money on everything except rent and bills. So until he gets that out of the garage. And my Z back in there, I honestly don't give a **** about his TA. (it does hurt me to say that about a car, but you can only push a nice guy so far....)

It's not bad at all. I can barely hear it, and it doesn't annoy me. It's not a big deal to me since I figure it's all metal parts, and they HAVE to make some noise.

Supposed to be about 70 and sunny tomorrow after noon. So I'm thinking of going to Sonic in Savage by 1pm if anyone's interested.

Looks like a nice, dry day! Let's go to Sonic today! I'll be leaving my house at 1230, so if anyone wants to meet up and drive that way, just message me.

I think I paid less than $500 at a transmission specialty shop in Burnsville. I also had a coupon, thanks to Ryan.

I would just call around to get some estimates from 3 shops in your area.

if I don't use my local mechanic, Ron @ RS in burnsville area or maybe making the drive to DB in rogers

I'd probably go to ron. He turned around a tranny repair on my evo in a day and for a fair price. I definitely know the shop I wouldn't go to

Went to the Burnsville Sear's car meet today. All I can say is that it was interesting. Saw a Z owner that I haven't seen in over a year. Also met some new ones.

Once some of the other's started revving their engines, I left. Bikes were racing around the lot, and cars were getting loud.
