I'm thinking of organizing a club cruise down to Mankato for our Fall tour. Been wanting to go check out Unique Specialty and Classic Cars down there, and the drive is decent.

What do you guys think?

Z is going away this Friday. I'm sad and happy at the same time. Sad that the season is over but happy for what next year will bring..... muahahaha

 

I'm not giving up just yet. Going to the car event at DCTC this Sunday if anyone's interested. I may take Devin or invite a future Z owner.

After this Sunday, I'll start prepping the Z for storage at my MIL's house.

 

Mine goes to sleep next Friday.

This weather has been a blessing and a curse. I love driving the Z this late into the year still with the windows down even. But I've been pulled over numerous times for the exhaust. A couple of holes rusted into it, and it is just louder than all ****. I told myself to wait until next spring to fix it, but fully expected to have it put away by now lol

 

I guess I know what your winter mod or purchase is going to be.

 

my neighbors 43 yr old wife ends up dead this past sunday.... BCA and other detectives in an out of the house all week. Squads sitting on the house damn near 96 hrs. Not a lick of news about what went down there other than rumors ... here's what I think I know:

she was shot -> suicide? murder?

husband call it in around 7 pm on 11/13 upon returning from the store

initial report states she was "obviously deceased" -> this jives with her being shot

rumors of the "dark web" and potential death threats stemming back 5-7 months

husband is definitely strange... socially awkward.

house was turned back over to family on thursday around 5-5:30

detectives had talked to neighbors stating there wasn't any danger to the us

husband was in custody, then released and was staying with inlaws and the child.... if there was an open investigation into my daughters death, I don't think son in law is staying with me.

They bought a piece of land that had been owned by two of my uncles in the past. We rented land from the family since they had moved there about 5 yrs ago and I was at their place late oct to pay them for rent. he is an IT guy, she has a dog training business. they have a 7 or 8 yr old son.

not a whole lot to go on at this point, but I cannot believe 6 days now an not any news. talked to a few of my copper buddies in town and they say info will be coming out next few days or week. to my LEO people on here (dave) is it normal to sit on a house for almost 96 hrs over a single person suicide or murder?

I know, just because the guy is odd doesn't make him a murderer, but at the end of the day she is still dead and the info about the death threats seems credible ... just really really odd the goings on

No, it's not normal. News travels fast. I have done warrants and seen the news the same day.

There was a murder/suicide here by my house not too long ago. They found the bodies the next day. It was on the news the same day as the discovery or maybe a day after. The news continued to update as info about the couple became known.

So rumors of the dark web? I wonder if the couple was into some weird sex thing and got caught up in the wrong crowd or did something so heinous that it caused someone to kill her.

the dark web stuff I believe is related to threats to her over the past spring/summer. weird sex stuff wouldn't surprise me... heck anything at this point wouldn't be a surprise
