No problem Deepu. Your level of improvement was really impressive. Next season you should invest in a set of DTC-70s for your Brembos. If they are as good as my DTC-60s, you are going to be very, very happy.
Last autox of the year this Sunday (you HAVE to work though):

whose RX8 is it?
I might show up for this AutoX, its sad that I spend 290$ on Evolution driving school for AutoX and did only one event after that at CCM. And I don't even have interest in AutoX anymore

Copied my post from xceed:
What an awesome day!!
Besides the late start, the day was perfect! Yeah we could have done without the sea of cones at the center cross-over (which confused the hell out of me my 1st run in the afternoon) but hey, it was prolly the only way to make it longer = more seat time.
Glad I brought my friend Ross out (grey 350Z). He had a lot of fun and enjoyed the course a lot. That guy is ***** fast and I wish he would just go to Nationals. Was chatting with Ken and we both agreed that the format was cool, felt like a national tour but with people you know (which makes it more fun).
Anyways, I loved the course, maybe wish there was another slalom or chicago box or something to test out my new koni's. But I was able to play with them a bit and realize how awesome they are. Ultimate grip felt like it improved dramatically.
Here's some cool vids we got with the go-pro:
Video #1
Ross (07' 350Z) vs Me (05' 350Z) - You can see I'm already slower after the slalom, and just gets slower and slower haha.

Here is video of the incidents I caught on video at the last 3 ***** Gingerman OTD. Good thing I wasn't following too closely on the last one... Enjoy.

I've been chatting with a lot of folks about setting up a track day type of event for NIODetroit and WMZclub members. I also wanted to open it up to you folks on here as well.
This year, we had 2 events, which I think were relatively successful. However, a lot of people suggested we actually track our cars AND show them off.
I was thinking of either Gingerman or Gratton raceway. I was thinking of combining a get together with camping and then a track event of some sort. A 3rd idea would be the track at the Tire Rack store in South Bend, IN. I've heard some very positive experiences from people regarding the autocross events that have been held there.
Right now, I am just kicking this idea around but wanted to see how much interest there would be before deciding to take it to the next level.
Let me know what you think! I also encourage any other ideas.
Thanks in advance!

Nice Video Steve .... nice job there directly entering into Pit when the Cougar lost it.
I don't get this about passing with some people, they won't let you pass unless you are with in inches from their a$$. They don't realize that you are faster than them but are trying to maintain a safe distance.

Yeah, you can probably tell that I backed off - I let off the throttle and stuck my fist in the air...
I am afraid to think about what 'would have' happened or what limited amount of choices I could have made - if I was right on his ***. Most likely I would have widened the turn and maybe went off track with my left wheels... hopefully slowing enough to keep control of the car and complete the turn off track - or hit the sandtrap at that turn... or worse.
Yeah.. most people realize that if you catch up to them - you are faster.. But there is still that small percentage of participants who's ego is too big (or experience too little) - and in that case you have to sacrifice a lap and pull in to grid to get an open area. They suck.
Nismo Titan - An all Nissan (or most Nissan) track day would be cool. I agree with staying in MI. Gingerman or Grattan. Heh - not to complicate things but the 131 Dragstrip (grand rapids area?) might be cool too - but that's a pretty hefty drive for the east-siders for a drag-day.

Last year I ran about 4 events with 3Balls and felt that this was the group I liked the most. Why? Because,
- they are more relaxed
- they allow passengers
- you get the most track time
- I have found that the people who attend these events are more matured and responsible than some of the other events
So who else is signing up ?
ZDayZ
I am signed up for the ZDayZ event and we will be returning back on 23rd. I think it might be better to stay back at Ohio complete the event and return back.
Honestly I would do this event if it weren't the day after Zdayz. However, I think I'll be too drained to track all day, especially at Mid-Ohio.
I may just wait for the nasa event in July or August (See other thread for updated schedule)

@Rob ... Good job on updating the track schedule
Yep, I had the same doubts in mind but I decided to sign up because
a. I am very comfortable with 3Balls
b. they are cheapest around here with a lot of track time
wait a second .... looking back at my posts it looks as if I have some financial interests with 3Balls... LOL. No, I am no way related to the group
Also, I figured we will be hitting Ohio area by about 4-5 pm on May 23rd. That will give me a full evening to rest and not do anything until the next day. And I will save a 3hr drive driving to the track compared to doing the event on some other day.
My only concern is that I do not want Mid-Ohio to be my first track day of the year. I decided not to take my car out of hibernation until May 1st.
