I'd say call up Fontana and see if they have anything available. Grab it while you can. If you have to cancel because room opened up, then do it by mid-April. The penalty is (I believe) only $50 of your deposit. If you can shack up with someone, you'll save more than $50 so it will work out.

The Willows are great. I had one last year. It's a great deal for what you get. The couch is not a pull out but still comfy. I think the Willows should be right around the corner from our villa.

The Michigan crowd is looking good. The ZdayZ food is ... ahem .... so-so. But let's be honest. That's not why we're going. I might be willing to cook a dinner one night for all the Michigan folk.

I stalk the Z forum still like a puma... I just lay in the shadows. lol

I have a 2 bedroom Hemlock... a bit bigger than I wanted so its on call to switch to a Willow like usual. It was my fault for waiting so long but I didn't know if I'd have a homie to join me. But I got my buddy trev... who's 6'5.

My Exige won't get up the hills with him and I both in it lol.

Dil -- Let me have a second shot at that camera work, there'll be no technical difficulties on my end this time around.

Everyone -- I do have 2-bedroom Willow booked and would like to fill it up if anyone needs a place to stay.

I checked my reservation and I've actually got a two-bedroom Laurel cabin. It's 1-queen and 2-twin beds. Total cost per night is $129 (it may jump to $139 on Fri & Sat). There's some photos half way down on the link below:

Let me know if you're thinking about going since I would really like to get at least one or two people to share the cabin with.

By early April, we'll start a list of people going and who is staying where. So don't let go of any cabins. I have no doubt we'll book up all the space. If not, you can open it up to the general forums and folks will be killin each other to score a place to stay.

God Bless ZdayZ. What an event.

Don't be nuts. Pack a sleeping bag and pillow. We'll find a spot for you. A couple of these guys have cabins and need room mates. (See previous posts)

I'm currently on a business road trip thas taken my down to Newberry South Carolina. Just East of Knoxville, I-40 closed down towards Asheville due to a rockslide so I was forced to take a different route headed back North.

For the first time, I took I-26 from Asheville headed North. I absolutely fell in love with this route that I took some video to show you guys just how beautiful the route was. Now keep in mind that I am recording video while driving a crappy rental mini-van. I wasn't trying to go fast so you can imagine this would be fun in the Z.

So it's got me wondering how we can alter the caravan's route coming back to take advantage of some of these beautiful roads. (Sorry this is 4 minutes long and the music was kind of loud. I just quickly grabbed the camera when these hills first came into sight. Extra points if you can name the song and artist)

That is beautiful. Wow. Any road with truck ramps is fine with me!

The music is pretty good for the video. Nice and mellow.

LOL - This turned out to be a better quiz than I thought. Not Genesis. But you nailed the era. You get credit for actually owning cassette tapes. LOL! This was from 1983 done by ex- Led Zepplin member Robert Plant. For some reason this top 20 hit slid into obscurity and is rarely heard on the radio.

Here's the video from back in the day when bands made production quality music videos. Good music for a long road trip ... unless you're sleepy. LOL

That's it. Robert Plant - I think I had "Now and Zen" on cassette. Truth be told, I pitched my cassette tapes. Wife talked me into it a few years back, using the argument "we don't have cassette player so what's the point!" So for the sake of saving space, out they went. Two months afterwords, we bought a new '07 Murrano SE with the Bose Sound system which, for some reason or another, included a cassette player! So now we have a cassette player and no cassettes.

ok so who's good at beer pong?

I'd say I'm pretty decent so I'm looking for a good teammate. It'll be $20 per team with max 32 teams this year.
