Default Winter Goodies?

Thanks to a Black Friday special deal (that's over, unfortunately), I'll be rocking a set of Hotchkis swaybars in the spring!

Note: I might need help when it comes to installing them, though. I've never attempted to do suspension components before. I'll throw up a request either here or at a GLZC meeting, if I ever get to another one.

Anyone else getting Z goodies this winter?

Be on the watch for the traditional Spring Install Party. There will probably be one as soon as the snow is gone and road salt disappears. (Late March)

There will be another one in late April to prepare for ZdayZ in May.

I have a lot of maintenance I want to do but nowhere to do it. I was kind-of hoping to do trans/diff/clutch fluid when the snow starts falling but I may take it to Howard or someone else to have it done since that stuff might be annoying on stands.

oh yeah it is very annoying to do on stands, if you could rent a lift for 30min it would save you from getting covered

The other pain, in the cold, is that the fluid is very thick. If you use a suction-gun it's more difficult to draw it in and out of the gun... Even worse. you don't have a drain on the diff in the 370Z do you? ugh..

You are welcome to use my garage Lee. I'll be putting the Z up for the winter this week. You're welcome to use the other half the garage.

Diff and trans both have to be sucked out/pumped in. ;/ It's gonna be a real PITA.

Thanks for the offer... I'm going to cover mine today. I have been dragging my feet on fixing the fence that it'll be parked up against (that scratched the hell out of my bumper this summer).

This car is way way less happy with cold weather than my 350s were. Most of it is my mods I suppose (popping/creaking sways, extra loud exhaust) but it's also really difficult to shift until the transmission warms up.
