i am planning on being there on the 14th, but outlook is not so good.

parts for the car were supposed to get there today, but for SOME REASON, they havent come in yet. my car is gonna sit in the shop untill wednesday/thursday when the parts come in. hopefully the dealer can put it back together by friday. i need to spend a whole night prepping the damn car friday. i dont blame the dealer though.

looks a bit shakey so far, but ill know for sure by monday.

have you talked to the people at dick scott about the club we're putting together?

do we not read posts on this thread? am i the only one that gets email telling me when someone has posted on this thread? i posted a ton of info about this meet a few days ago and other then mzack we havent had anyone say anything or showing interest. bla

there is an xceedspeed.com meet at milan august 14th. it is the "under the lights" race where its domestic vs import cars. it runs from 6pm to 11pm. at 9pm the contest starts and so do eliminations. entry is $25 to race and $10 to watch. there is money if you win but i dont think any of us are fast enough to worry about that. go to xceedspeed.com if you want more details.

we were planning on having our next meet there, but as usual, interest is almost zero. mike is always down for a meet so he's good to go. your cool man.

im still hoping to be able to make it on the 14th, even if no one else shows up. i just depends on weather or not ill have my car back in time.

Dick Scott will be having a gathering with food. Date unknown. I will be going there most likely next Friday to have my seat fixed. There is a TSB and my seat is loose. I will keep all infomed. I am going to push them to have it in early September.

 

I want to go on the 14th. I'll confirm on Wednesday, as we have friend over on Tuesday night and I might have already committed to going camping with them over the weekend. I need to politely get out of the camping thing...

Your sub behind the drivers seat, does it have an enclosure ?
I went to Mickey Shorrs as you suggested and they did not have an enclosure that would fit. Do you have a loose sub without the enclosure ?

PS. I found a roll of the door edge trim at Murrays. Looks good.

 

My car came with the metal bracket. Goto courtesyparts.com and look under 350z interiior. They are $27 and the car is $12.

i just found out that my car wont be ready by friday. im looking at monday afternoon now. still not the dealers fault though, so we're still cool.

anyway, i wont be able to make it to the exceedspeed meet on the 14th. if i do go it'll be with a couple of buddies who want to run their bikes. too bad.

im aiming to head out to the track the 19th though.

TSB on rear ends. My right side is making all kinds of clicking noise. Spoke to Dick Scott and there is a TSB. I am hopefully stopping in on Friday morning to have them look at it.

Yancy, you may want to goto the repairing forum and look under clicking TSB.

On the club front, I spoke with Doug at Dick Scott (he called me) and the owner bought off on him doing some things. I do not know what they are right now but I will let everyone know Friday after I meet with him.

Also, made a couple small purchases for the car. Won't have them for a couple of weeks though.

 

mike, can this tsb for the rear end be applied before those noises are heard as a prevention type of thing or is it only usefull IF something goes bad?

 

Not before they are heard. I think the problem is not common. It wasn't mine. My exhaust pipes are banging on the cross bar.
