Mysunset, i think i got my aluminum cooling plate from www.strictlyz.com for like $100 and its covers the whole area.
Mickey, I'm happy with the work and the great deal Godspeed gave to me on the TT kit. I have to honestly say that Dan deserves a lot of credit for being a master tuner. They did a great job of getting power out of this car. Also, as far as this area (besides etx himself), I'm pretty sure that Godspeed is the only shop that has done an install of a tt kit on the Z.
I once heard that good shops take longer to get things done than not so good shops. The only thing that I really don't like is the time it takes for things to get done there. When you spend a **** load of money in one place like I have, you expect for your car to come first. Sometimes that's not the case, but maybe I tend to be too critical at times.
To answer your question, I would recommend Godspeed because they absolutley know what they are doing and Dan is a Master Tuner that can work magic with a car.

This is only my 2 cents, but I'm not a fan of Nismo. All of the Nismo products are over priced and do not produce the gains of other similar products that sell for less money. Tomei or JWT cams are the way to go in my opinion and are (I believe) a few hundred dollars less than the Nismo cams (ie. $1,500 vs $1,200). As an aside, a few months back I read an article about a Z that had every Nismo R performance part on it (ie. cams, exhaust, headers, intake, etc.) and it only produced about 15 rwhp and rwtq more than a stock Z.

Props to Dick Scott Nissan. My 30k service was exceptional, especially when I got a call acknowledging that they had forgotten to flush the coolant system. They made everything right, and really went out of their way to help out.
Kyle and Doug rock! +1 vote for these guys as a great dealer in the area (especially since I just got my Z here from my old home in Seattle).
Guess I'll have to participate more in the events offered before I put the car away for winter.

I saw your Z in the service area yesterday morning. I went in to get a front end clunking noise fixed. I, too am very happy with their service, dropped the car off at 7:30am, and got a call that it was all set to pickup around 9:30am.
I will post my rating shortly under the following post, could I get you to do the same? Thanx.

ok i fixed my airbag light problem finally.
after trying every weird thing i read online imaginable, this works
for future reference, anybody who unclips a airbag harness with your battery off, dont hook up your battery again without reconnecting the harness.
here is how u turn it off
1) turn car in accesory mode, wait for airbag light to start flashing
2) turn car off, wait 10 seconds EXACTLY
3) turn car in accesory mode, wait for airbag light to start flashing
4) turn car off, wait 10 seconds EXACTLY
5) turn car in accesory mode, wait for airbag light to start flashing
6) turn car off, wait 10 seconds EXACTLY
7) turn car in accesory mode, wait for airbag light to start flashing
8) turn car off, wait 10 seconds

finally got that taken care of. i would just put a piece of black tape over the air bag light. heh.
decah kit was 1300 but had to have some major modification done to it to fit the z. i ended up paying more in labor then the kit itself.
other companies sell the modified kits for double, but they're not made by decah meaning they're not too reliable and they're still not a perfect fit. depends on where you look.

I can tell a big difference since I put on the Plenum. Also it looks like my rear bearings will be getting replaced and possibly another set of tires. Feathering again.

is there a tsb out for the uneven wear on the rear tires? the inner side of the tires is basically bald, and the outside still has about 1/8 left.
yes i need new tires anyway, but is that kind of wear normal?

I have not heard of any TSBs for the rear tires. The rear camber is adjustable and that is what is causing your wear. I suggest you goto the Firestone on Ford road and buy their 3-alignment package for $109. I did. They told me that I would eat up tires with this car. I am going to buy the Kinetix Racing from Camber adjustment arm for $389 to help solve the front issue. As now the stock front camber is not adjustable and is a partial cause of the front feathering.
As you can tell, I have been doing a little research. I have more to do before I buy the kit.
