Default Windshield Replacement in NJ

I need a recommendation for a glass shop that can replace my winshield. The windshield has to have the dots on top and cannot be tinted on top either. Anyone in NJ replace their windshield? I post this here inorder to get the most exposure.

Sorry I cant help you on where to go, but I just replaced my windshield yesterday - $279- which I didnt think was all that bad. My deductible was higher thats why I paid out of pocket...just a heads up on the cost.

Was the windshield OEM and if not does it have the DOTS on top?

I have a 04.5 roadster.

Had the windshield replaced with factory Nissan windshied. From what I understand, the only real difference between factory and non is the fact that the name Nissan is not on the windshield. My insurance company paid for the factory windshield. Difference in price was about 400.00-500.00.

Look in your Yellow Pages for listing for "Safelite Glass." It's a national organization and the technician will come to your home and replace your windshield with the proper one (i.e., dots, etc.). The cost for my replacement was $267.00 and they did an outstanding job. I have an 800 number you might try to see if there's an operation near you: 1-800-800-2727.

Yeah, location would help.

But, if you are in central/northern Jersey, I highly recommend the following shop. My father uses them for his fleet of trucks, so he sent me there when I needed a new windshield in my volvo. They did such a great job, extremely quick, and at a great price, so I went back when my wife chipped the windshield in her Honda Pilot. Again, a great experience.

Yep...That's exactly where I ended up going today. Replaced with a PPG windshield that matches the OEM one to a tee.
