MA/NH 350Z Club - Anyone Interested ?
Hello to all Northeasters , especially those in NewEngland . I have joined the ZCCNE but do to work haven't been able to get to anything yet . I would like to hear from other 350Z owners in Massachusetts and New Hampshire especially, on this forum .We may be able to organize a 350Z group exclusively and start getting together to share war stories and other things .

FrankieZZ,
My Silverstone Enthusiast is being delivered in April. I live in RI now but I'm from NH and all my family is up there. Let me know when you have a Z meet and I'll come up for the weekend.
Thanks Jeff

Hi C2tCardin ,
How's it going ? What part of NH are you from ? I have heard from only a few people so far , but it's a start ! I have a silverstone and love it . We need to start a group up here .Where did you buy your Z ?Mine is sitting in the garage , all covered up . I don't use it , there is too much snow here and all that salt !By April we should be okay ! Keep in touch , especially when your Z comes in . We'll set up a get together then . The weather has to be better by then !!!!!!!!!!!!

Hiya
Franklin, MA here - my PPW Touring 6SM (purchased in October) is sitting in the garage now waiting for the weather to improve in about 3 months.
I'm probably game depending on day/time and distance.

FrankieZZ,
I grew up in the Dover/ Barrington area of NH. I ordered my Z in November at Smithfield Nissan here in RI and asked for it to be delivered in April. They thought I was crazy to wait (wanted me to buy the Touring model they had in the show room) but I would be too tempted to take it out in the snow. Can't wait to pick her up though! Soon as Spring arrives I'll be up for sure. Peace, Jeff

This is pretty funny - just about everyone up here in NE has their car stored for the winter or waiting for a spring delivery. I had an old garage demolished when I bought my house and built an addition, so my Z is hibernating at Boston Acoustics in a nice heated garage while they go through and replace just about everything in it (~ 2 months and counting). It is nearing completion , so I may have to find a body shop that takes their time painting it... FortunatelyI should have the new garage completed by next winter.
As far as a meeting, I have become friendz with another member on this board, Nazar, who owns a couple of stereo stores in Southern NH (Salem and Plaistow). He mentioned having a "get together and BBQ" at his shop in Plaistow (pretty big parking lot) when the weather gets better in the spring. He hasn't purchased a Z yet, but he is a big fan of the car and did install a pretty wild system in a Z back in October. He is also is a good outlet for upgrades and does everything from stereos to wheels to seats to turbochargers and I have yet to find anyone priced cheaper. His number is 603-382-1801 if you need anything. Be sure to mention you're from the "My350Z" board. I am picking up some more stuff for my install on Monday and will remind him of his offer again. Please let me know if that would work.
By the way, it appears the Z is quite prevalent on the streets in California, Dallas and Atlanta, but I have only seen two other 350Zs on the road up here since I bought mine in September, so I would love to see some other ones.

Spring Meet in Plaistow NH
Hello to Everyone ,
I really like Anyone2You's idea of meeting at that sound shop . It's great to see so much interest . I'll be glad to monitor this and get in touch with Anyone2You when the time approaches . Please keep in touch over the winter !
It is funny how all the Zs are in the garage. A date in spring sounds realistic and I will post a time and date once we can set something up . Let me know if your friend at the sound shop is still interested .Maybe we can pull some Mainiacs or Vermonters , also .
Hey Jeff , your old stompimg grounds are real close to the beach . We'll have to get together sometime .
To everyone else , thanks for the response and it looks like we may be able to get a local club off the ground . I have had alot of experience with other marks in terms of hosting and running club events ( helped put on the 1988 National Alfa Romeo Convention in Conn . , serve as a concourse judge for the Mercedes Club , belong to almost every major car club , and am active in rallying .)
It will be great to see a bunch of Zs together here in New England from time to time !See you all soon !

Just thought I would give an update. I met with Nazar yesterday in Plaistow and he would be willing to host a party at his shop. He even has a big BBQ in the back of the shop to cook lunch on. In addition he knows of three other 350Zs (that aren't on this board) that will more than likely be there, including the one he did the system on (link in my first post to this thread).
Personally I would prefer to meet on Sunday, as it seems there is a little more traffic on Saturday, but should be able to make it either day. Naz also thought the end of March or beginning of April would make the most sense.
That's about it for now.

How far north are you guys from, say, Hartford? Maybe we can get some Connecticut guys up there. I'm game if the weather is good.
By the way, there is a meet being setup by Jerry Rome Nissan in W. Sringfield, MA for sometime in May. I don't know how far away this is for you guys. I am waiting for more info. on this and if you guys are interested I will be glad to give you details as they become available.

How long from Hartford
Victor,
My company has its corporate office in WHartford Center and it takes me about 2 hours to get there,(depends on traffic) from Boston's Back Bay. Hampton is about 45 min north of Boston. Coming from Hartford you would probably go 84West, to MA Pike East, then to 95 North. On a Sunday you should be able to make good time.

Hey Victor
Welcome ! As Marc said it's about 2 1/2 -3 hours from Hampton , but Plaistow NH is closer ! The Springfield get together sounds interesting . Please keep us posted on that one , also . To get to Plaistow, NH you would take Rte. 84-15 to the Mass Pike to Rte. 290 through Worcester to Rte. 495 North . Plaistow is an exit off of Rte. 495N in Massachusetts( near the NH border ) . NH meanders in and out of parts of Massachusetts . It really isn't that far .Just keep checking this site from time to time and especially around the end of March , beginning of April . My guess is it will lean towards April because of this lousy winter . We hope you can make it up !
