Angry Dealer Messed up my car. ARGGG!!

When I brought my car in for service a week ago to get my oil changed, they fcuked up my car. Instead of putting in synthetic like I always use they filled it up with regular oil. Usually I bring my own Mobile1 but I was short on time and was not able to bring my own this time. This dealership does all of my oil changes so don't they have something written down stating that my car uses synthetic only? It's not the first time I used the dealer's synthetic.

Not only that, while washing my car they managed to spray some nuclear strength wheel cleaner on my brand new Volks which ate through the clear coat and ruined the polish on all 4 wheels. Needless to say I am furious. So to top it off I'm going to be without my car for about 2 weeks so the dealer can send my car to a wheel shop and try and polish my wheels back into it's original shine. If that doesn't work they suggested re-dipping the wheels in chrome as a last resort. That's not what I want!!!
I just wanted an OIL CHANGE!!!

Any advice is welcome.

As for the oil -- I wouldn't worry about it. Synthetic is nice, but the car is not going to die because its running on Mobil1 10w-30 (what I use).

As for the wheels, I would definately get to the dealer about having them pay for them to be redipped or what have you.

Can the MODS post a Sticky about this. This is like the 10th post I have seen lately where the dealers mess up folks aftermarket wheels. Once again, this is why I wash my own cars! GL!

#1) WTF were they doing washing your car if it was in for an Oil Change??
#2) The dealers always reccomend, NOT to use synthetic, guess they dont like engines to last a long time..
#3) WTF were you doing letting the dealer change your oil!!

Hope it all gets resolved, but I would make them pay for a new set of wheels, end of story..They F'd up let them pay..

Questions answered to MRCMotorsports:

#1) WTF were they doing washing your car if it was in for an Oil Change??

Infiniti dealerships offer car washes for customers free of charge when cars are brought in for service. This dealership has a detail department that hand washes cars. They've done fantastic jobs in the past 3 years. This is the first time I brought my car to the dealer for service with my new wheels.

#2) The dealers always reccomend, NOT to use synthetic, guess they dont like engines to last a long time..

Most of the time I bring my own Mobile1, but this time I didn't have the time. No one's fault really.

#3) WTF were you doing letting the dealer change your oil!!

Why wouldn't I? I'd rather let them do it rather than Jiffy Lube, are you serious? Besides there are about 20 bolts in the undercarriage covering the oil pan making it difficult and time consuming for myself to do it.

I brought my car in to the dealership today to get my wheels repaired. Looks like I'm going to be without my car for a couple of weeks . I'll post pics as soon as I get my car back. Hopefully the wheels will look brand new again.
