Take the RS4 :] That way I can bring my A6.... and no worries, I won't invite any other dubbers. I'll even stay in the back of the cruise

We just had a 50 car+ VW/Audi cruise this past weekend, and my buddy was the only non-dub with his Z! Was a blast.

THE RUN. UPDATE as of 5-5-07

Looks like the event is going to kick butt, no matter how you look at it. The route has been formulated, but as I stated in previous posts, it will not be released until the day of. Please, please, please DO NOT BE LATE. There is no way of getting you the route information if you miss the start, and we are standing firm on the decision not to release it ahead of time. It is also slightly different from that of NEMR 2, last fall. I recommend to everyone an arrival time of 7:30am. That way you can hang a bit, and get a good look at the directions, and get gas if you need it.

There WILL NOT be a stop for gas during the drive up, so please fill up before the start. There is a Sunoco Station right next to the Basketball Hall of fame. The total drive distance for the run is approximately 110 miles with about 90 miles of unrelenting twists and turns. We will most likely be communicating with walkabouts for those of you who have them. Cell phone signals are absent in some of the remote regions we will be travelling through.

Finally, the rain date is for the following Sunday, May 27th. The final go ahead will be posted on this forum on Friday, May 18th.

Haha, no we won't be stopping for tea. We will start the Run, maybe stop one or two times and get everyone back together, and take a break.

At the end of the Run, at Stratton Mountain, we can have lunch at one of the couple restaurants and people can chat and hang out.

And yeah, it is definitely coming up fast now. I am REALLY hoping its sunny and 70*+.

People need to look at the forecast a little better. There is a difference between "showers" and "rain".

It says "showers", and there is a 30% chance. That means there is a 70% chance it won't rain -- I checked both MA and souther NH, it is the same. When it comes to weather, 30% chance is pretty lousy, and it probably won't. It may be cloudy, but that isn't a problem.

Also it could change again before tomorrow evening seeing as though Monday is supposed to be sunny all day, may push the weather up or something.
